It’s about using a figure or a body to represent something higher than we would normally associate it with.
“I believe… I was destined to be an artist with a camera. It all adds up: my grandmother who worked for George Eastman, my mother who was a secretary at Kodak; my aunt who helps people ‘see,’ [and] my father who was the family photographer. How could it not be destiny?”
Fashion Notes: For her cover Rihanna wears a slew of designer attire. Her black briefs are Dolce & Gabbana, jewelry is from Tiffany & Co., pink vintage top is One of a Kind Fashion Archive; with shoes by Y Project.

Diggy Simmons Walks For Dolce and Gabbana Fall-Winter 17
Diggy Simmons is all grown up and still making all us girls want to throw him our digits (LOL)! Simmons is following in the steps of his sisters and getting down on the fashion tip. His beautiful sisters, Angela and Vanessa, in the past have designed stylish collections right down to shoe wear. However, Diggy isn’t going that particular route. You see Diggy doesn’t create designer fashions, he just rocks the heck out of them! His big fashion is definitely one for the books. Let us tell you more about Diggy Simmons Walks For Dolce and Gabbana Fall-Winter 17.
Diggy Simmons Walks For Dolce and Gabbana Fall-Winter 17
People have their squads, tribes or a crew. However, the Dolce and Gabbana brand for their recent menswear runway show presented their DG millenials. The new crop of male models that are giving the fashion house a more exclusive look.
For his walk down the runway Simmons wore a black tailored jacket with floral accents. These details harmonized very well with his floral print pant. We loved the use of a bow tie which gave the ensemble even more character.
Nevertheless, it was refreshing to see florals apart of a fall/winter collection. Normally, we all are very familiar with seeing such a look during the spring season. Winter fashion tends to lean more toward the drab end of things with tones including dark blues, grays and black. However, this change of pace gives guys the opportunity and freedom to break the rules as well as experiment with not color but prints. Love this pairing great job Diggy you should do this more often!

2016 MTV Movie Awards: Kat Graham Dolce Gabbana Throwback
Beauty Kat Graham attended the 2016 MTV Movie Awards in a form fitting vintage design. Well… that is if you consider 13 years long enough for fashion to be considered “retro.” Graham rocked a gorgeous Dolce and Gabbana dress that was apart of the DG Spring 2003 collection.
One of the biggest fears of any fashionable woman is showing up somewhere and seeing some other chick wearing the same exact look as you. Kat kind of had the same moment this past weekend at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards. If time travel was real or possible we could of boarded a machine and went back to the year 2003 and find Queen Bey wearing the same DG dress! Beyonce wore the sexy number for the recording of a show at Dave Letterman. Actually, that far back Bey wasn’t even Queen Bey and even more so Mr. Letterman isn’t even on TV anymore; so most likely, some may be reading this like who in the world is Dave?! Yeah, girls that’s just how far back we just went.
Let’s move things back forward then, shall we? We think both ladies definitely had the physiques to pull off the Dolce and Gabbana gown, however, we think Kat’s overall ensemble was put together a tad better. Instead of black accessories like Bey, Kat went for more neutral designs. Graham polished off her 2016 MTV Movie Awards look with Casadeio sandals, jewelry from Sethi couture, Levian and Rachel Katz as well as an Oroton clutch. For this particular dress we prefer less is more, but let’s still give credit where credit is due dolls. Beyonce still was setting the trends back in the day that would still be just as posh today.

Confirmation Premiere Fashion Recap
From the first time it aired, ratings soared through the roof for Kerry Washington‘s hit television show Scandal. With so much weekly tea as well as twist and turns viewers could not seem to get enough of the racy show. Recently, Kerry has taken her talents and starred in yet another bewitching storyline for a biopic entitled, Confirmation. Confirmation is the real life story of Anita Hill, a woman who dared to give testimony regarding sexual harassment during the Senate confirmation/nomination hearings of Clarence Thomas. Last night, at the HBO Confirmation premiere several leading ladies of black Hollywood were in attendance.
Lets start with the lady of the hour, Kerry Washington. Washington stunned in a $4k floral frock by Dolce and Gabbana. Moreover, Washington took care of style business right down to the smallest of details. Her mani was in a gorge neutral shade. With such a bold ensemble it was nice to see a more muted nail look that would not compete in a negative way with the rest her look.
Next up, is the gorgeous Gabrielle Union! At the Confirmation premiere Gabby even got the chance to snap a quick photo with Washington on the red carpet. Union sprinkled her own dose of black girl magic with a dress by Marc Jacobs. We absolutely loved Gabrielle and Kerry’s updos for the evening. The face-framing pieces and flowing tendrils of strands gave their hair a very romantic feel.
Not last but very least, let’s talk Zendaya! What did Zendaya adorn herself with for the Confirmation premiere? Coleman slayed in a colorful garment made by designer Rani Zakhem. Her hair also had a romantic flair due to a deep middle part with cascading waves. Can you say perfection?
ALL IN THE DETAILS: Designer Rani Zakhem has dressed several over starlets you would know including songstress Kelly Rowland.
