Yari Hall at the MTV Movie Awards 2015

Gorgeous personality Yari Hall floated down the blue carpet at the MTV Movie Awards in a LBD. Her LBD aka Little Black Dress showed off her great gams and overall killer physique. In the hair department Hall’s wavy coif was definitely a head turner, no pun intended we swear!

Beauty Notes: Yari’s cat-eye was ferociously chic and we loved her bright lip color which is perfect for spring!

Michael B. Jordan Looks ‘Fantastic’ at MTV Movie Awards 2015

Michael B Jordan MTV Movie Awards 2015

Actor Michael B. Jordan hit the MTV Movie Awards red carpet in a bold plaid suit. Jordan is starring in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot and was at the ceremony in order to present. Due to the boisterous feel of his ensemble we loved how Jordan kept his shirt and tie more muted so as not to clash.

Tinashe Rocks Adam Selman for MTV Movie Awards 2015

Tinashe Rocks Adam Selman at MTV Movie Awards 2015-2

Tinashe was a very busy lady yesterday during the MTV Movie Awards festivities for 2015. The rising pop star performed her single Drop That Kitty and did it all in style. It all started when Tinashe hit the red carpet…excuse us, we mean blue carpet in a noire gown designed by Adam Selman. If the name sounds familiar you may recall another musical fashion icon as being a muse for the designer…Miss Fenty aka Rihanna. Tinashe’s black floor-length gown is from Adam Selman’s Spring 2015 collection; talk about from the runway to the streets!

Hair of the Week: Tinashe MTV Movie Awards 2015

Hair of the Week Tinashe MTV Movie Awards 2015

The stars came out in full force yesterday to take part in the MTV Movie Awards for 2015. What better place than for celebrities to converge upon Los Angeles, California where stars are truly born in the streets of Hollywood. Fashion statements were made and hairdos kept pace with the various stylish ensembles. Tinashe kept things sleek and simple with a black gown and topknot bun. The ease of her hairstyle allowed the drama and emphasis to remain on her designer threads.

Lookbook: Coachella 2015

FullSizeRender(5)

Hey Everyone!

For today’s lookbook I decided to create a look that could be worn at Coachella, one of the biggest music festivals in the whole world! Coachella is held out in the desert in California so the heat should never be counted out when styling an ensemble. With temperatures reaching above 100 degrees going a little summery even despite it being spring is a perfect option.

For my outfit I paired denim shorts with a black crop top and black sandals. It may be hot during the day but it can cool off at night so slipping on that plaid shirt you tied around your waist can easily rectify that fashion issue. Skin is just as great of an accessory as jewelry so I slathered on a lotion that has a little shimmer to give my skin a nice glow. Lastly, to tote my essentials around I added a fringe handbag to incorporate a little hobo chic.

Love Always,

Arianne

The Purpose of Dry Shampoos

The Purpose of Dry Shampoos

Dry shampoo was originally invented to assist those who were unable to cleanse their hair on their own or due to circumstance i.e. in hospitals and medical facilities. Nevertheless, dry shampoo has entered the hair product market and some wonder how this item can be an useful part of their hair routine. Therefore, what is the purpose of dry shampoos?

Dry shampoo is an excellent way to maintain or rejuvenate hairstyles without having to add soap and water. Moreover, if your strands tend to be on the oily side, dry shampoo can easily refresh, clean and soak up any excess oils. Not sure what brand you should use or try out? Try using regular baby powder which doubles as a great dry shampoo. Sprinkle the baby powder on strands then brush the powder out. Remember, the darker your hair color the more noticeable the powder will be; so then, go slowly using smaller amounts until the powder has been worked through.

Bonus Tip: Dry shampoos are also great post workout to freshen locks.
