Fashion Spotlight: Keke Palmer at FOX Fanfare party at Comic Con

All hail the queen! Or at least one of them…the ladies of the new television show Scream Queens were in attendance for FOX networks dazzling party held during this year’s Comic Con. The weekend has been filled with appearances from the fashionable starlets and today (July 12) the girls were all set to hold a panel discussing the ins and outs of the upcoming show.

Keke Palmer will share the spotlight on the show with co-stars Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis, Abigail Breslin, Billie Lourd and Skyler Samuels. For the event, Keke looked drop dead gorgeous in head-to-toe white. It can be challenging to pull off white WITH white shoes, but as Palmer demonstrates that design is everything in order to make sure an outfit doesn’t become a one note bore.

Zendaya Coleman was spotted this weekend in attendance for the 4th annual BeautyCon LA Festival. She wore a sexy ensemble from the Lie Sangbong Spring 2015 collection proving that baby girl has been all up in the gym! The light blue outfit was definitely a fresh breath of air and we could not get enough of the skirt! A pocket and asymmetrical design…yeah, you can pretty much count us in on that action.

BeautyCon is the world’s premiere beauty, fashion, lifestyle destination for brands, fans and content creators to all converge upon each other. The event contains Q&As, games, performances, mingling, interactive presentations, new product reveals and of course shopping!

Gabrielle Union Rocks Denim On Denim

Actress Gabrielle Union is one of the many celebrity sightings this week in NYC. Gabrielle was spotted leaving Milk Studios after taking part in a photo shoot. Union blessed The Big Apple with her fashion presence by rocking a trend that at times can be quite challenging to pull off. That trend is the denim on denim.

Women have worn long denim gowns or the denim suit with some successes or needing to be put on the worst dress list. However, Gabrielle is a sterling example on how to wear this trend correctly. Union matched the correct denim tint when it came to her skirt and top so that the rinses were not so far apart in shade. Also, by revealing a few touches of skin it helped to break up the monotony of the look. Her neutral accessories kept the outfit relaxed keeping the attention on the coolness of the jeans.

Yesterday, there were several sightings of songstress, Rihanna in New York City. For her first look RiRi rocked black tights, sneakers, Thrasher tee, snapback and Fenty necklace. RiRi had been doing a little body maintenance at Titan gym and was quietly exiting the building. See, isn’t comforting that celebrities have to put in the work for their hot bods too?

Rihanna kept her relaxed chic vibe going as night fell upon The Big Apple. Her nighttime ensemble consisted of green sweats, gray shirt, gold hoops, tennis shoes and another snapback.

So why was Rihanna on the streets of NYC this week? It looks like the singer is conducting a little business while she is there. Rihanna was meeting with world renown producer Timbaland at a studio.

Beauty Notes: Knowing how to compliment or marry your nail color with your makeup can be very easy. A simple way to not create a color clash is by matching your lip color to your nail color. For her look, Rihanna chose a gorgeous red and the tint pops!

Beautified can be used in order to locate last-minute beauty services. Oh yeah, by the way, this chic New Yorker is only 27!

Bronfman is one of fashion’s front row darlings at designer runway shows. So then, it is no wonder girls from around world wouldn’t want to immolate her cool, fresh style. We keep on falling…Innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn In In In love with Alicia’s fashion and beauty ventures! Sorry, for that we know we can be a little pitchy at times but we just couldn’t resist. The songstress is the face of Levi’s New Denim Collection for Women and she looks absolutely amazing.

Keyes has always had an unique style so it is great to see her being highlighted as a style forecaster. Moreover, dare we also say that it is refreshing to see a woman with REAL curves being a spokes-model for a major brand? In a world where most women are not a size 2 Alicia’s fly thick figure is a tribute to women everywhere with a little more meat on the bones. Levi’s has even said that these innovative jeans come with serious body benefits, because they are made for every shape, size, and style.

Alicia spurs on the masses by opening the ad with the words, “All women are naturally bada**.” Her viewpoint of women does not stop there with that edgy remark, Alicia goes on to reveal what also makes women powerful, beautiful beings. See the promo below!

Streetstyle: Ciara at BBC Radio in the UK

She’s got the London look…or she’s at least looking like a bag of money in the streets of London, England! Ciara is doing a little promotion out in the UK and visited several radio stations. She did it all while making a fashion statement and as she hit BBC Radio the cameras were waiting on her.

Ciara wore super short denim shorts, a white tee, plaid over shirt from the brand R-13 and Timberland boots. With legs like hers we would be showing them off too and proudly. The plaid aka lumberjack shirt trend seems to be heating up again as of late. Unfortunately, the one Ciara is wearing by R-13 seems to be completely sold out only showing how popular the look can be.

Imaan Hammam, Aya Jones and Lineisy Montero- Future of Modeling Industry

With new gorgeous faces being seen on a daily basis it is hard to break out in an industry that is all about youth and beauty. As many television shows have helped to emphasize is that a model has to have that special something or Je Ne Sais Quoi that electrifies them off the pages of editorials, runways as well as ad campaigns. Teen Vogue is diving into this industry and giving attention to those believed to be rising new faces.

It wasn’t that long ago where black models were barely seen or utilized regularly as muse’s of top designers. So then, it is very exciting to see three black models receive a nod of approval and highlighted as the new “It” girls on the block. Models Aya Jones, Imaan Hammam and Lineisy Montero are all featured in the August issue.

Lineisy Montero Stars in Prada Fall/Winter 2015 Ad Campaign

Beautiful Lineisy Montero is one of the modeling rising stars to be featured in Prada’s ad campaign for fall/winter 2015. Montero is joined in the campaign by models Avery Blanchard, Estella Boersma Inga Dezhina, Ine Neefs, Greta Varlese and Maartje Verhoef. In the ad the stylish squad sport tailored coats, jackets, embellished dresses and sweaters with much school collar preppy attitude. It is clear that Prada does not want women to be afraid of stronger color or prints which nicely livens up normal winter attire that tends to focus on darker, drabber styles.

Moreover, it is amazing how the collection screams retro and modern at the exact same time. The entire campaign was captured by photographer Steven Meisel.

Accessories Report: We immediately took notice of the long-sleeved gloves featured in the campaign. Long gloves are so old Hollywood chic and convey upscale luxury. So then, this fall and winter feel free to have an Audrey Hepburn moment…Prada has given us the okay.

Atelier Versace Couture Fall/Winter 2015-2016 Collection

Versace’s collection for fall/winter 2015-2016 made us want to march ourselves right back to Coachella! The couture essence of the runway show reminded us of fashions often worn during the music festival season. Flowing, revealing with an ethereal delicacy capturing the beauty of true femininity.

Each gown was effortlessly beautiful making each model seem to dance down the runway in an almost dreamlike state. The color palette of the collection ranged from light and airy tints and drifted into noire masterpieces. If Disney wanted to gift the prize of being dressed as a princess they would no doubt have the lucky young lady choose from the Versace collection!
