Cosmetics brand MAC has announced they are teaming up with Star Trek in order to design and release a MAC Cosmetics Star Trek Collection!
If you have ever dreamed of snatching up the beauty look worn by Lieutenant Uhura (played by Nichelle Nichols as well as Zoe Saldana) then you are about to be awakened to a very cool reality. MAC promises to develop a collection that fully captures the essence of the long-running television show and films. In regards to the MAC Cosmetics Star Trek Collection, MAC stated,
“Spanning half a century, [Star Trek] and its loyal fans cross generations, influencing ideas and aesthetics of gender, race and intergalactic potential. As the sci-fi saga continues, MAC and Star Trek’s latest cinema generation join forces in an exclusive makeup collaboration of cosmically charged hues.”
Sounds to us like a makeup collection of epic proportions! Fans and beauty lovers can anticipate the release of the MAC Cosmetics Star Trek Collection sometime this September.
