General Carrera Lake (Chilean side) or Lake Buenos Aires (Argentine side) is a lake located in Patagonia and shared by Argentina and Chile. Both names are internationally accepted. Along the banks are sheer marble cliffs. The passageways and caverns formed over vast stretches of time are sometimes large enough for small boats to glide through.
