You probably can see right through this ad campaign (wink, wink). Thus far, early previews of the type of couture to expect from the Axel Arigato x Samsung mix up is leaving little to the imagination. In the campaign singer and entertainer, Teyana Taylor, poses in plastic couture reminiscent of the decade that was the 90s. Remember transparent bags and Diddy as well as Ma$e dancing in plastic joggers (if not; Google it’s fab)? Well, that is coming back with fervor yet with a bit of a modern twist.

Teyana’s full body ensemble incorporates a stylish, yet revealing pant and hoodie. The Swedish brand informs that more looks are definitely on the way; and couture lovers can expect the full collection to roll out in three phases.

The collection will first be available to the edgy, fashion conscious in London beginning on September 7th. Next up, the good people of Stockholm will get their shot at the line on September 14th. Lastly, all the rest of us mortals will finally be able to see and get our hands on pieces and garments from the capsule starting on September 17th. Axel Arigato says that on the 17th the entire collection will be online. Sweet.

This team up as well as the resulting fashions are quite fitting. Why so? Well, for over a year now Samsung’s growing infamous tagline is, “Do What You Can’t.” Roving around the streets in see through clothing certainly fits that bill.

How? In short, bacteria. Germs and dirt collect on our phones paving the way for good old acne face. Moreover, since we spend a HUGE amount of time on these devices it ups the chances of us introducing “uncleanness” to our screens constantly.

Look Ma No Hands. Break out those earphones whenever you can to help minimize how often your face nears your phone. Even if you prefer to text there are apps now that allow you talk and turn your speech into a text message. By going “handless” as much as possible you help keep contamination at low amounts.

In these modern times technology is all around us in order to make life easier and smoother. Often times, especially here in the states and our hometown Los Angeles we literally live in our cars. To get anywhere we need them and when weather is an issue we are glad to have wheels.

Nevertheless, as nice as zipping around town on fours is, having a phone seems to be the pinnacle of life. It’s the mode to have instant communication with friends or family, direction mapper, selfie taker, data analyst, document creator and list goes on and on. However, these two awesome inventions can prove to be deadly when combined.

Dun… Dun…. Dun! Well, it will only be a scary situation if you allow it to be. What some ladies and gentlemen are not aware of is that they are causing water damage to their phones while in their cars. How is this happening?

Have you ever gone through a drive thru and ordered a drink and put said drink in a cup holder? Most of us have its what the holder was designed to do. Moreover, once that drink has been finished you may toss it and place your phone in the very spot it the drink had been located. The leftover condensation from the drink can seep inside through the charger port and wreak havoc.

It is like taking your phone and dropping it in its own little pool. Keep your phone safe by waiting for your cup holder to be dry or use napkins to speed up the process. You may also consider finding a different spot in your ride for your phone to chill at while you man the controls. Therefore, be careful with how you treat your phone in your auto and live to take another selfie.

We use them every day of our lives and panic when only one bar of service is available. However, there is way more terrifying and disturbing details regarding these tech gadgets that will alter your way of doing things forever. Well, at least it should cause you to at least give it a little more thought. No fluff or lead-in to this subject ladies, let’s just get right to it. Here are 5 facts about smartphones that will change you forever:

1. It’s Like Putting a Public Restroom Toilet Seat to Your Head- Researchers have discovered that our precious phones contain 18 times more bacteria per square inch than an average toilet seat. The next time you experience an unexpected breakout your cellie may be to blame.

2. Oh Crud- From the outside everything may look fine but the inside may be a whole other story. The good thing is Apple knows how to design a phone that is very secure, the bad thing is it is so secure that crud gets stuck in the phone and never falls out. Cell phone repairmen report that when cleaning phones they have discovered food particles that have caked along with finger oils stuck around the home button.

3. That’s a Load of Cr*p- Hate to break it to you, but researchers also found fecal matter on a large amount of phones. Before you deny it, think about that time you had to see or check your FB, IG, Pins, Tumbles, Snaps, Vines and Tweet time lines while you sat upon your glorious throne. Yup… that’s how it got there.

4. More Transfers Than a Bank Account- Microbes or bacterium can be transferred from person to person due to their ability to survive for days on the surface of your phone.

5. It’s a Bug’s Life- This one freaked us out the most so we are going to say it then quickly put it out of our minds. Very, very tiny critters may be living it up inside of your smartphone because they like the warmth that it provides. They find their way inside by using the earphone jack or other little openings. Nevertheless, there are products that you can buy to help keep them out…yay.

Alright, so what can be done in order to protect the beauty from the smart phone? We need our phones so we are not just going to burn them and live a life of phone celibacy. The key is all about maintaining a clean smartphone, there is no way around it. Keep your phone clean by wiping it down with antibacterial wipes and don’t forget to wash your hands. Moreover, be mindful where you are setting your phone down, aim to place it in an area that is not sketchy. Always think about if you would be willing to press your phone against your face if you laid your cell down in a particular area. If the thought of the face press scares you more than Friday the 13th then do not set your phone down in that area at any cost.

Whew! Close call but its all going to be okay… so keep those selfies coming!
