Today’s hair battle is epic! You guys have been asking for it so here you go. A hair color showdown between two divas who know a thing or two about being a style chameleon. Celebrity mogul Amber Rose and crooner Justine Skye square up for a light purple hair color face off. Here we go… let purple reign!

Purple is a great color to indulge in especially if you are bold, daring or love to hit the music festival season. Nonetheless, it can come with it’s challenges, such as maintenance. We girl talked with several colorists who told us on average this particular tone will look fresh for about a month. After conversing with everyone we believe it’s safe to say every 4-6 weeks a touch up will be necessary.

Funny thing is one stylist mentioned that at one point they had the color fade away in just two weeks and on another occasion it lasted 24 weeks! The main key is finding a great colorist who can do it right as well as having good home care routines. Such as, always use color formulated hair products (i.e. shampoo/conditioner); and use a shower cap when showering to protect your hard-earned lavender color.

While it may not work in the workplace; if you can squeeze this style into your current lifestyle you are sure to turn some heads. Just like with Justine and Amber! We love how both of these stunners rocked this look. Justine kept hers sleek and straight; while Amber added a tad more drama with a deep side part and slight waves. Therefore, who wins?

2016 Coachella Hair and Style Recap

Music festival season always bring out the best in hair and style trends. During this past weekend the 2016 Coachella crowd proved the truthfulness of this stylish fact. We spotted so many starlets that we try our best to highlight as many fabulous looks as possible. Kick off those heels, relax and enjoy our 2016 Coachella hair and style recap!

Chanel Iman: With her twisted back flowing locks of hair, one of her several looks had us in designer heaven. She wore Roberto Cavalli snake print pants, Stevie Chiffon Wrap Top by Stoned Immaculate, Isabel Murant suede ankle boots and belt by Child of Wild. Oh baby!

Chanel was also spotted with actress Vanessa Hudgens having fun with Forever 21.

Jasmine Tookes: The 90’s were definitely back with Tookes rocking short-shorts, tied up shirt and a choker. Besides her great fashion we took note of her hair. She wore her hair nice and chic in a hat as well scarf. Work!

Ugh… so supermodel fab! The scarf look is great for those pesky spring and summer bad hair days.

Kat Graham: Hats and Coachella are like peas and carrots. They just go together. Kat joined the hat game as she wore a black number with her floral frock. Simple, cute and totally nailing 2016 Coachella vibes!

Jhene Aiko & Karreuche Tran: These two lovelies shall haunt our Snapchat dreams…and we’re absolutely okay with that. Thanks to a deep side part and platinum hair color these two dolls had our focus on their tresses just as much as their gorgeous faces.

Amandla Stenberg: Can this girl get any cooler? Amandla always leads the pack when it comes to trendy natural hairstyles. For Coachella the cutie pie made us swoon over twisted knots. Moreover, Stenberg perfectly demonstrated how to were accessories without them overpowering each other. She wore hoop earrings, septum ring and a choker. Nicely done!

VicStyles & Justine Skye: These two can definitely hold their own when it comes to style. Nonetheless, we matched up together because they were part of the 2016 Coachella “Braid-y Bunch.” Same hairstyle just with their own finesse. Justine adorned her’s with interlocking ribbons and VicStyles slayed with an edgy, sophisticated hat.

We cannot put it into exact words but there is just something absolutely hair-licious about a high ponytail reaching towards the heavens. If such a hairstyle could talk it would say something to the effect, “Hi, I’m a style and I’m like super fierce. What up?” Beyond that mix in some more dramatic attitude by flipping the script and pulling said hairstyle to the side and you’re just asking to command attention! The Purple Unicorn recently decided to let her tresses reign the hair game. The Justine Skye High Ponytail is what spring 2016 hair trends are all about and then some!

What’s not to love about the Justine Skye High Ponytail? It’s cool and modern thanks to her signature deep purple hair color. Plus, the volume of the tail makes the style seem less stiff and ridiculously fun to rock.

Nevertheless, what makes the voluminous tail such a nice touch is the sleekness leading up to the tail. To pull that off you will need a product with some serious holding power! PowerPuff Girls x Moschino Launch Party

90s babies and kids unite! Jeremy Scott has designed an epic collection featuring one of the best gal toon trios ever made. Last night, Jeremy Scott and his fashion forward girlfriends came together to celebrate the launch of the PowerPuff Girls x Moschino line.

The Purple Unicorn, Justine Skye, attended the event and shared her thoughts regarding the line. She seemed to have fun on social media showing fans her look for the party. She even made reference to a new change to her Instagram. For the past few weeks the singer had only posted black and white photography. Nevertheless, for the PowerPuff Girls x Moschino launch she was “colorful.” Justine went on to say,

“In love with the new collection Jeremy Scott! Thank you for having me, can’t wait to go to the show.”

Empire’s Serayah was also in on all the fashion fun. If time machines were real we would of thought Serayah had come out of one. We loved the styling of her boisterous ensemble right down to the choker! In regards to the line Serayah said,

“Always kisses for the genius Jeremy Scott for this amazing PowerPuff Girls line, I was always Bubbles who were you?!”

Jeremy Scott is truly a visionary when it comes to fashion. Scott has never had a collection that disappoints. His designs are for the girl who is not afraid to just be herself and enjoy life. Jeremy was happy to have Justine and Serayah apart of his big night stating,

“And these beauties last night! Serayah and Justine Skye last night wearing a mix of Jeremy Scott and Moschino for my PowerPuff Girls x Moschino Launch Party. #GirlPower.”

It definitely was a night full of 90s girl power. We didn’t think the Barbie designs could be outdone but Jeremy always knows how to wow us. Congratulations on the PowerPuff Girls x Moschino line Mr. Scott we know its going to be successful!
