Semi-permanent hair color is similar to temporary and hair color rinse as they last for longer time periods. To make the color last and make an impact on your makeover, it is first applied and then sealed using heat from the dryer for about 30 minutes. Semi-permanent color doesn’t contain any chemicals and are safe for processed hair too.
The final hair color stays for about 6 to 12 shampoo cycles and doesn’t make a huge difference from the original hair color. Hence, if you wish to give your hair color a drastic change, semi-permanent hair colors may not be the right way to go.
