Spring is here and your winter feet that have been stuck inside closed-in pumps, boots and tights are about to make their appearance. Are they ready?
To put your best foot forward, sorry for the pun, you may need to soften your feet. Purchasing a foot cream containing urea (an ingredient known to really break down dry skin) as well as a pumice stone can go a long way. Simply soak your feet for at least 5 minutes, use the pumice stone to soften rougher spots, then dry feet and massage foot cream onto your feet concentrating on the rough areas.
To really soften your feet after soaking and applying foot cream put on a pair of socks. Keep the socks on for at least 3 to 4 hours. If planning to soak feet closer to bedtime just leave the socks on overnight. Continue this process every few days until you achieve your desired level of softness.
