Patti LaBelle is a renowned Grammy Award winning singer, author, and actress who has spent over 50 years in the music industry. The first 16 years she was lead singer of Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles. Later in the 1970’s, they changed their name to Labelle and released the hugely successful, iconic song “Lady Marmalade”. The song was remade in 2002 and sung by Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Mya and Pink.
