WNBA superstar Angel Reese is going from being called Bayou Barbie to literally having her own barbie doll! The fabulous 2026 All-Star and model is about to takeover the toy and sneakerhead realms. On Friday morning Barbie and Reebok unveiled the Barbie Angel Reese 1 and Signature Doll.
As part of Angel Reese’s collaboration with Mattel, she is launching the “Barbie” Reebok Angel Reese 1’s releasing August 3rd. WNBA fans can get a sneak peek the next few days. Since the Angel Reese Barbie along with her new ‘Barbie’ Angel Reese 1 colorway will be on display this All-Star weekend. The display shall appear in Chicago at Togethxr House located at 113 N Elizabeth St. The actually doll is available now via Mattel and its retail partners.
Nevertheless, the Barbie brand is thrilled to release this special collaboration along with Angel Reese and also Reebok. Regarding why they chose to work with Angel; the iconic doll brand states,
“Reese doesn’t just push boundaries, she owns the court. The breakout star of the Women’s National Basketball Association first learned the game from her mother and honed her skills with her brother on their Baltimore driveway. By high school, she was dominating the court and earning recognition as a five-star recruit. At LSU, she led the Tigers to their first National Championship and was awarded Most Outstanding Player in the NCAA tournament. Drafted by the Chicago Sky, she quickly made her mark as a fierce forward, becoming a two-time WNBA All-Star.
While her on-court accolades are impressive, Angel’s impact extends far beyond the game. Off the court she has built a reputation as a driven entrepreneur and cultural icon. She is rewriting the narrative for female athletes: attending the Met Gala as a member of the host committee, hosting her podcast Unapologetically Angel, walking fashion’s biggest runways, and most importantly ‘playing it forward’ with the Angel C. Reese Foundation. The organization empowers girls to rebound from challenges by tackling cyberbullying and promoting equal opportunities in sports, financial literacy, and more.
The Angel Reese Barbie® doll celebrates this legacy dressed in a pink basketball uniform with her signature legging, Angel Reese 1 Reebok shoes, and headband. Her jersey honors her WNBA #5 and LSU #10, while a pink basketball symbolizes the power, confidence and style the “Rebound Queen” brings to the game.
