The spring 2014 collection includes a dazzling array of exotic prints, textures and bright boisterous colors. Perfect for any lady who doesn’t mind making and leaving a lasting impression.
Fun Fashion: Sophia Webster Spring 2014
Aw spring… birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, bees are fluttering about and the sun seems to dance across the sky. No designer got into the spirit of the season more than Sophia Webster for her spring 2014 collection.
Models participating in the show wore hairstyles inspired by insect antennas, yet the amusement didn’t stop there. Models also toted bags that read, “High Flyer” and “You Buggin.” Their nails were painted with iridescent and pastel tints in order to keep with the theme.
We are always thrilled when designers infuse youthful vigor and festivity into their fashions. Therefore, this spring season when you’re getting ready for your day just have fun with it!

Be your own Superhero by getting the newly designed “Hero” Collection Nike Basketball 2014 Elite Series. The “Hero” is inspired by real life superheros- LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant. The collection features hues of the respective stars’ team colors. King James’s LeBron 11 Elite is bright “Laser Crimson,” Kevin Durant’s KD VI Elite features “Turbo Green” while the Black Mamba’s Kobe 9 Elite is the “Wolf Grey”. The 2014 Elite Series “Hero” collection is launching May 9 at Nike Basketball retailers.

Rihanna Will Be Honored With CFDA Fashion Icon Award. The CFDA annual event recognizes the outstanding contributions made to American fashion by individuals from all areas of the industry. This is a great honor for Rihanna and well deserved. Whether you like her music or not you can’t deny her fashion sense. Rihanna doesn’t follow trends she makes them.
“We are proud to present Rihanna with the CFDA Fashion Icon Award for her impact on the industry as fashion’s most exciting ambassador in recent memory,” Steven Kolb, CEO of CFDA, said in a statement.
The 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards will take place on Monday, June 2 at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center.

They are just full of shiny, colorful and strappy goodness. 1966 Magazine Attends El Paseo Fashion Week Project Runway
It has definitely been a whirlwind of a week, but it has all been worth it in the name of glorious couture.
We had the pleasure of seeing our favorite Project Runway designers showcase their latest designs. Typically, if you think of West Coast fashion – L.A. Fashion Week may instantly come to mind; however, not so fast ladies.
El Paseo Fashion Week is quickly proving to be one of the hottest tickets in town elevating fashion week show production and design. For the first night, we wore a LBD cutout dress (Arianne) and purple floral gown (Alicia).
