Beyoncé’s Ivy Park x Adidas collection is getting closer and closer to launch. However, the singer continues to tease it with a drip by drip release; of pics and magazine editorials. The latest?
Well, first fans got their next taste of what to expect when the Queen took over New York City. Right smack dab in the famous and iconic Times Square; a HUGE advert of Beyoncé sitting on a bicycle in full head-to-toe Ivy Park appeared.
Beyoncé alone would get people freaking out. However, for it to be her in her new unreleased gear; you can only imagine the hysteria. Immediately social media began floating pics and video around the Ivy Park campaign photo. Then the next phase went down. Hello Grazia!
Yes, within hours yet another sighting of the Ivy Park garb laced with Adidias flair. This time however it came in the from of a mag cover. Grazia’s Korea edition features several models decked out in Ivy Park chilling in various positions. The cover is effortlessly cool; proving the designs of the collection are well thought out with enough punch to give any wearer a chic edge.

So what will be up for grabs once the collection actually drops? One item that people are anxiously waiting for is the new shoe that you see Queen Bey in, in most of her shots. It is being called the 72.
These kicks are classic Adidas at it’s finest. The familiar three stripes makes the design feel like “home.” While the thick sole gives it almost a retro “platform” sole feel.
Speaking of vintage vibes. You may have noticed that the campaign comes with an almost throwback yet modern vibe. Models are posed with afros with a cadillac hanging out in the back. And even Beyonce’s bike looks like it could be on her granny’s carpet.
Nevertheless, the visuals never lose the essence of what the line is really about. Sportwear with an edge. Athleisure meets urban chic.
