The concept is simple: build and lift them up. To give your boobs a little more spotlight you need to exercise your chest muscles. In a world where everyone wants a better and bigger booty the chest can get ignored. Nonetheless, working out your chest muscles just two or three times a week can give you a sexier bust without going under the knife.

Why Does Exercise Work?

As you know boobs are just glorified fat. Underneath these sexy fat gems lie your chest muscles. Strengthening and toning said muscles starts a chain reaction. Boobs become more defined and begin to rise.

For instance, when you do squats what happens in time? The butt becomes more toned and defined. It also heads north and lifts up. All of this occurs because of the muscles in this area being worked and challenged. This principle works with the chest as well.

What exercises should be performed to enhance the bust? Chest flys are excellent for making the chest even sexier. Here’s how to perform using dumbbells:

  1. Starting Position: Lie flat on your back then with a dumbbell in each hand. Raise dumbbells so that palms face each other and arms form a wide circle or arch.
  2. Movement: From the arch position lower arms to the side till you feel a stretch at the chest.
  3. Return: Lift arms back up to starting position and that is one rep. Think as in two seconds down and two seconds back up to the start position. Do 3 sets of 12 reps.

If you do not own any exercise equipment an old school move can still get you results. Push-ups are classic and very effective. Moreover, since they can easily be performed anywhere there are no excuses when it comes to succeeding in breast enhancement.

Another way to achieve breast enhancement through exercise is to focus not just on the chest muscles. Strengthening and toning up your core muscles and upper back is also key. Doing so will help you stand taller instead of slouching. As a result, your chest will look even more elevated and alluring.

We’ve seen the look in magazines, on television, and on countless websites. Having down-to-there hair is a look that many women like to and love to rock. I don’t know if it is the flicking, twirling, wind-blowing through it or flipping it around action that we see so often that makes having long hair so appealing to females. It’s just that unfortunately; the truth is some of us need a little help to achieve this desired length of tresses.

So what do we do, we break out our pack of extensions and hope to God a strong wind doesn’t blow or that handsome guy we know doesn’t cop a feel and tug. I think many of us have come to the conclusion that if we are going to resemble Rapunzel then it’s going to be our own hair stealing the spotlight. However, growing long hair can be quite a challenge and takes dedication and persistence.

Quite frankly, there are not any shortcuts when it comes to growing out your hair. On average hair only grows between 6-8 inches per year and that’s if everything about us is healthy. So to be successful in this, you have to be very diligent in taking good care of yourself inside and out. Recently, I chatted up some of my celebrity hairstylist friends and asked them to share some tips on growing long hair. Here are a few of the things they told me would be beneficial:

  • Drink plenty of fluids
  • Get plenty of rest
  • Take vitamins, minerals, and herbs ( include B-6, biotin, Inositol, Beta-Carotene and folic acid)
  • Eat a healthy diet
  • Exercise regularly (stimulates blood circulation to the scalp and hair follicles)
  • Weekly scalp massage
  • Hot oil treatments (protects hair’s shaft)
  • Regular Trims
  • Minimize your use of hot tools, chemicals, and harsh hair products
  • Avoid consuming junk food, caffeine, sugar, nicotine, and alcohol

Ladies I’m not going to kid you, but even if you take great care of yourself and your hair your hair growth is also determined by genetics; therefore, it may grow way slower or faster than others. Just something to keep in mind as you continue on your hair journey so that you do not get discouraged. These tips are not too demanding and if we are really truthful with ourselves we know they are things that we probably should be doing anyway. So then, it is possible to achieve long hair, it just takes effort and a healthy lifestyle.

Researchers have discovered that the more muscle mass that an individual has the faster their metabolism will be. Just how much of a difference will having more muscle make? Studies have shown that twenty to thirty percent of the calories we burn daily is determined solely on muscle mass. Therefore, more muscle gained through strength training which focuses on building muscle will mean a bigger burn.

When we saw these photos our mouths literally dropped to the floor. Yes, we have fitness goals, but Serena shows how to really take things next level! In the pics Williams shows off her extreme flexibility which we are sure is one of the major reasons she dominates on the court. In a caption for the photos Serena even writes, “Proceed with caution.” Oh we will Serena, trust us we will LOL.

Flexibility is one of the most important yet often neglected aspects of fitness. Why is flexibility so important anyway when it comes to having a knockout physique? Here are three reasons why you should not ignore working on being more flexible:

1. Increases blood flow to the muscles.

2. Helps to improve performance in physical activities.

3. Decreases risk of injury since joints are encouraged to move their full range of motion.

So then, flexibility will protect you from needing a doctor after dance class and help you to be a better athlete. Nevertheless, being more limber is not always an easy task. We all have different ranges of flexibility which is why it is good not to compare ourselves to others. However, what are some ways that can help to improve the situation?

  • Warm Up– Never go straight into your workout, warm up first in order to prepare your body for more work. By the time you are done warming up you should be lightly sweating.
  • H20– Drink plenty of water because dehydrated muscles will not stretch to their full range of motion.
  • Be Still-Save static stretches for after your workout and remember not to stretch to the point of pain when holding positions.

There you have it girls some tips to help us all beast like Serena in the athletic department. None of us may win Wimbledon or a Grand Slam but who says we can’t look like we did! Keep up the good work Serena you inspire us to be more fit.

Travel Mondays: Victory Trailhead

For this weeks Travel Monday I went on a hike in West Hills at the Victory Trailhead. The scenery has changed so much from this winter. Now it is very lush and green. You are surrounded by rich golden tones and variations of browns because of the Californian drought. Yet, their is something beautiful about this trail with all the cascading mountains and rolling hills.

This time I took a different trail while hiking and man was it killer!

If you are looking for a pretty good workout, this can deliver it to you. By the time I finished, I was pooped. I was able to take a few photos to share with you guys.
