Stir the water and filter the liquid after your selected amount of days. Lastly, transfer the liquid to a glass bottle and store it in the fridge.

Want to speed things up a bit? No problem, there’s another way to get through the process a bit faster. The boiling method.

Begin by taking an 1/2 cup of rice and placing it in a strainer and then rinse it off. Place a pot on the stove and bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, place the rice in the pot, and watch for the water to become “cloudy” looking. When the boiling water is cloudy, turn off the pot and allow the water to cool. Strain the cooled rice water and pour the contents into a spray bottle. Refrigerate when not in use; you may keep your rice water safely in your fridge to be used for up to a week.
