The luxury hotel and space states, “We were honored to welcome Naomi and [the] British Fashion Council to The Ritz this evening for their very special announcement. Naomi will receive The Fashion Icon Award at The Fashion Awards 2019. Congratulations!”

What about the British Fashion Council? They too could barely hold in the news of Naomi’s Icon status! The BFC reveals,

“The BFC [British Fashion Council] is delighted to announce this evening at the Ritz London; that Naomi Campbell will receive the Fashion Icon Award at The Fashion Awards 2019.

Naomi will be recognized for her incredible contribution to the fashion industry. Her world renowned career as a supermodel. As well as her philanthropist work with charities.

[Additionally her honor is for her] incredible efforts for a more diverse and equal future, especially in Africa.”

The Fashion Awards is held annually by the BFC, British Fashion Council. The ceremony is utilized to honor the industry’s top talents from modeling to beauty to fashion.

This year’s array of honorees include the Queen of makeup Pat McGrath as well as fashion royalty, Donatella Versace, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Stella McCartney. Top models Winnie Harlow as well as Adwoa Aboah were also nominated for Model of the Year. McGrath will be honored at this year’s ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall for her invaluable contribution to the global fashion and beauty industry.”
