This week we have seen some gorgeous ladies posting up some pretty little photos of themselves! From singers to models, from snapchat to Facebook several celebs hit the social media platforms with some heavy hittas. Here are a few of our favorites spotted over the course of the week.
Ciara has been busy promoting her album Jackie and stopped by CBS Morning Show and posed it out with Gayle King. It does not take much to make this natural beauty look glamorous, but that red lip color is simply killer!
There is some much to love about this pic! Alicia Keys looks like an exotic queen with her bold pop of color lipstick and full eyelashes. Always on trend we also got a kick out of her septum nose ring.
Ashanti decided to break Snapchat instead of the internet when she posted this little number. Although looking quite natural in the photo can we get an Amen for those full eyebrows? Work it Ashanti!
Ugh… even while chilling at the zoo Joan Smalls looks like she belongs on somebody’s cover or in an editorial! Joan snapped a quick Lemur picture while at the Taronga Zoo and looked like the most chic one of the pack with her lush purple lip shade.

Inquiring minds have wanted to know for some time and decided to seek some definitive answers.
The fountain of youth may not have been discovered as of yet; however, one simple drink may hold more beauty as well as health benefits than this undiscovered gem. With the world becoming more visual and smaller due to social media many hopefuls hope to be seen as well as discovered. Our feature photographer was just mentioning how many times you will see IG bios including an email as well as the words, “Serious inquires only!” Moreover, what about the countless memes joking about males and females being models apart of the Instagram modeling agency?
Those scenarios and situations only highlight the dream of going from Instagram unknown to a major force to be reckoned with in the modeling world. Nevertheless, for one fortunate young lady that is exactly what happened! Model Alexis Primous took part in an Instagram model search that was conducted in behalf of IMG Models as well as W Magazine. Two ladies who rocked some braids stood out to us during the Teen Choice Awards. Those being the stylish as well as stunning Zendaya Coleman and the always beautiful Yari Shahidi. We will get to Yari in an upcoming post, but for now let’s talk some hair when it comes to Zendaya!
At first glance you may think okay, she is wearing a high tiny bun or chignon. However, then homegirl flips around and you realize the big surprise is in the back. A LONG, skinny braid that is dramatic yet very playful.
Several, girls in office said Coleman was giving us some serious Sasha Fierce vibes. Nevertheless, Bey normally will rock a much thicker braid so we want to give Zendaya credit where credit is due. The long braid was chicly fantastic and creative. Since her hair was pulled back her ensemble including the ruffle detailing (Ashi Studio Fall 2015) was able to receive more focus. If you are ever wearing an outfit that has some intricate details it is best to wear your hair in a simple fashion otherwise the two will be competing for attention.

Many women who have decided to go “natural” often wonder what hairstyles are available to them that will make the transition more bearable. One style that can not be overlooked is locs aka dreadlocks. To get started with this hairstyle hair length does come into play. If your hair is longer you can incorporate more of a braided look. Moreover, if your tresses are rather short than it will be best to use single twists when fashioning your locs.
Now, just because you are going natural it does not mean that you will have absolutely no upkeep. We shall repeat that one more time LOL, there will be some maintenance involved even though this hairstyle is low key. Natural hair still needs attention and some tender loving care. Continue to wash and deep condition tresses when necessary. Also, apply a good hair oil to keep the scalp healthy and hair growing. Need some hair loc inspiration? Keep scrolling:

Today, it is the sassy actress against the singing siren! Who will reign supreme in the hair down-to-there realm? Let’s just break down the hair look in all it’s glory so that a winner may be crowned.
This one is going to be a toughie because the hairstyle in question looks great on both beauties. Rihanna chose wear her sleek tresses in a jet black color with some strands tucked behind one ear. Keke on the other hand added a little more dimension thanks to some nicely placed highlights.
It literally came down to one vote over here, but the winner is KeKe Palmer! As much as we love Rihanna has a raven beauty, Palmer’s extra flair put her over the top. Moreover, as one team member of 1966 put it, “Keke’s edges are just laid!”
Take a closer look at both hairstyle versions for yourself:

It seems there are about a million different types and brands of flat irons available on the market. However, trying to figure out which one to use can be overwhelming to say the least. At the end of the day, taking off your heels can have your feet looking like you have just returned from battle! Skin tears, cuts, pain and other wounds become more apparent as soon as feet have been released from their encasing. Nevertheless, using gel in-soles made by companies such as Dr. Scholls can do wonders to alleviate some common problems.
Here are just a few issues gel insoles can resolve:
Pressure off your foot
Toe scrunching
Sliding forward in shoes
Since gel insoles can be transferred from one pair of heels to another it is easy to make all your shoes more comfy. However, how long will these good heel vibes last? It is recommended to replace gel insoles when they damage or it has been six months.

In these modern times technology is all around us in order to make life easier and smoother. Often times, especially here in the states and our hometown Los Angeles we literally live in our cars. To get anywhere we need them and when weather is an issue we are glad to have wheels.
Nevertheless, as nice as zipping around town on fours is, having a phone seems to be the pinnacle of life. It’s the mode to have instant communication with friends or family, direction mapper, selfie taker, data analyst, document creator and list goes on and on. However, these two awesome inventions can prove to be deadly when combined.
Dun… Dun…. Dun! Well, it will only be a scary situation if you allow it to be. What some ladies and gentlemen are not aware of is that they are causing water damage to their phones while in their cars. How is this happening?
Have you ever gone through a drive thru and ordered a drink and put said drink in a cup holder? Most of us have its what the holder was designed to do. Moreover, once that drink has been finished you may toss it and place your phone in the very spot it the drink had been located. The leftover condensation from the drink can seep inside through the charger port and wreak havoc.
It is like taking your phone and dropping it in its own little pool. Keep your phone safe by waiting for your cup holder to be dry or use napkins to speed up the process. You may also consider finding a different spot in your ride for your phone to chill at while you man the controls. Therefore, be careful with how you treat your phone in your auto and live to take another selfie.
