Nia Long Named First African American Spokesperson For White Diamonds Perfume

We heard this one and had to take a spritz in honor of the lovely Nia Long! Nia has become the first African American spokesperson for White Diamonds, the wildly popular fragrance made famous by Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor. Long has been a fixture in film both in front as well as behind the camera. Talented, beautiful and now leaving she is leaving her mark in the beauty world as well.

Elizabeth Taylor’s White Diamonds perfume not only made women feel strong and sexy, but helped a good cause. While alive proceeds from the White Diamonds fragrance benefited the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. Congratulations Nia and to quote Rihanna, “Shine bright like a diamond!”

Nicki Minaj has made quite a stir with the release of her cover art for her forthcoming album which drops on July 28. Fans and beauty enthusiasts have been noticing Nicki’s style changes over the past few months. Gone are the colorful locks, one of a kid outfits, dramatic eye as well as lip tints. In their place Minaj has been serving up a big dose of natural beauty, which is why we have dialed her up!

Although we enjoyed seeing Nicki’s risk-taking looks we are enjoying her more subdued makeup. She’s a gorgeous woman who truly doesn’t need any extra bells and whistles to look fabulous. We wish we could have this Moment For Life and talk about Nicki all night, but our call has come to an end. We think the beauty lesson for tonight is that less is more.
