She may be born with it and have hair so healthy it shines, but we are definitely sure that very girl put in work to look that awesome! We believe in working smarter not harder to stay naturally gorgeous. Here are 3 quick tips to help you gain and maintain beautiful skin.
1. It is best to saturate skin with lotion or creams right after a shower or bath while skin is still slightly damp to lock in moisture.
2. Soothe dry winter skin by warming lotion for 5 seconds in the microwave before applying.
3. Once a week exfoliate your entire body with a scrub in order to get rid of dead skin cells that can cause skin to look dull. Moreover, removing dead skin will allow oils and lotion to absorb better.
Most likely if you have changed your hair color it is your desire to keep your new tint looking rich and luxurious. There are some treatments that will help the color last and others will dull or strip it. Hot oil treatments are something that you will want to limit or use with caution to maintain vibrancy.
Hot oil treatments are known to contain high levels of acidity such as if you perform a treatment with olive oil. The oil will strip the color and there goes your gorgeous new shade. Nevertheless, do not despair you can still perform hot oil treatments even after taking a hair color leap. To do so, you will need to look for a product that has been specifically formulated for color-treated hair in order to maintain your dye job.

Let’s continue to let our intelligence, sophistication as well as beauty continue to shine brightly for the next 100 years and beyond.
1. Never touch your face, doing so can lead to break outs.
2. Always wash and moisturize your face in an upward motion to help minimize sagging skin in the future.
3. Do not “pop” or squeeze pimples in order not to cause a tiny pit or scar.
4. The easiest way to freshen up makeup during the day is to blot oily areas (nose, forehead & chin) with a tissue then apply a thin layer of foundation.
5. Women of color DO need to protect their skin from harmful elements such as the sun. Be sure to choose a SPF formulated moisturizer to keep skin healthy.
Beauty Quickie: If you are prone to develop dark eye circles it is best to avoid using mascara on your lower lashes. Applying mascara on the lower lashes can cast a shadow causing the area under your eyes to look even darker.
