NBA Star Russell Westbrook For True Religion S/S 2015 Campaign

As we sip our coffees all of us here at 1966 had to agree that is never too early for a little eye candy! One of Oklahoma City Thunder’s finest players stars in True Religion’s Spring/Summer 2015 ad campaign. We’ll gladly gaze upon Westbrook in tight pants while flexing for the camera any day.

True Religion’s chief executive officer David Conn spoke on the brand’s move to cast someone from the sports realm for their ad campaign. He explained that the “influence of sports on fashion has increased dramatically. Working with a pro athlete was a natural for us. A lot of players shop in our stores, and Russell is as well known for what he does on the court as what he wears at the press conference after the game.”

Binx Walton has been a very busy young lady! We always enjoy seeing her in ad campaigns and this time for DKNY she is joined by fellow model Jackson Hale who has walked for a slew of menswear runway shows. They both have such an innocence about them that makes their photos just pop! The DKNY Spring/Summer 2015 campaign features both male and female models including: Cara Delevingne, Sam Rollinson, Xiao Wen Ju, Ben Nordberg, Jeremy Matos and Sang Woo Kim.

Binx Walton is one of six models to be apart of Alexander Wang’s SS 2015 ad campaign. The party bus theme features the ladies oozing with stylish sass and sex appeal. In a season drowning with campaigns casting celebrities Wang holds true to using models to showcase his designs.

Wang says, “These girls, most of whom have been in my campaigns for a couple of seasons now—I think it’s just to show that I really believe in them. I always am a big advocate for models. In this moment, I just really felt that there’s a lot of great new faces, and could do something that really showed this authentic, genuine message of them hanging out, and also their relationship to the brand. And how fun they are.”

Winnie gained attention and fans from around the globe for her modeling prowess as well as strength to immerse herself in the fashion industry despite having a skin discoloration condition known as vitilago. Harlow is continuing to smash barriers this year by being apart of Diesel’s Spring/Summer 2015 ad campaign.

The campaign contains multiple group shots that look lively, fun and effortlessly chill. The cool kids have definitely come out to play and they are ready to party whether they are in their skivvies or some killer leather or denim. Solange Knowles Eleven Paris Spring/Summer 2015 Ad Campaign

Eleven Paris does it again with another fresh, stylish ad campaign for the spring/summer seasons. We had loved their campaign with hip hop artist Wiz Kalifa and now they have ushered in another level of cool by this time having Solange Knowles as their fashion muse.

Beauty Notes: We loved the big hair and the emphasis that was maintained on the eyes. The look includes a strong brow and remains youthful but fun with the light colored eyeshadow.
