Hair: Going Natural On The Runway?
Hair: Going Natural On The Runway? Well it sure seems like it. Many designers have chosen to have some of our models rock “the natural look” aka an afro for their runway show. It was seen at the Givenchy Fall 2015 RTW and Stella McCartney Fall 2015 collection. This look can be absolutely beautiful and shows confidence and individualism when it is groomed and shaped nicely. So if you rock and Afro perfect, you should be confident with your own hair texture and not feel shamed to wear it; it is beautiful. However I hope this just doesn’t become a FAD or the industry trying to make you feel that this is the only way to wear your hair or that this is how all our hair looks like. As black woman we know we all have different textures of hair rather it’s curly, kinky or wavy. So please be confident with your hair alone and whichever way you feel like wearing it wear it like that.
But our question to you is will you rock the Fro?

Zac Posen In Your Face Red Lips
Who doesn’t like a stunning, smoldering beauty look? For his spring 2015 show Zac Posen’s models rocked a very bold red lip. Want to know how to create this look at home? Makeup artists for the show first filled in lips with lip liner and then layered on lipstick so that the color imbued the lips making them pop.

Beauty Look: Derek Lam Spring 2015
Spring makeup should be fresh, light and showcase your natural beauty. For the Derek Lam runway show for spring 2015 model’s peepers were adorned with a mauve smudged eye look that was created using lipstick and eyeliner. Makeup artist Tom Pecheux used Violetta (M.A.C. lip shade) and brown eyeliner to highlight the eyes.
Elle Mexico LOADING S.2 With Model Jessica Strother
Elle Mexico LOADING S.2 With Model Jessica Strother. We love this street pop art vibe of this spread. Strother is wearing street-wear the right way. A little slouchy but with a since of fun. The makeup is on point as well. It’s all about a clean face with a pop of fuchsia on her lips. The color looks great on her skin tone. It also shows that girls with thick lips can wear beautiful bright colors as well and look fab.
