Zoe Kravitz showed some skin and swung her sweet braids for the cameras when she attended Dior’s Cruise 2016 show. Kravitz sat in the coveted front row in very good company with fashionable starlets as Dakota Fanning. The look had a quiet, chic allure that gave focus to Zoe’s amazing physique.
Fashion Quote May 15th 2015
“I like things that are hand made- but personally for a man, I’m not interested in fashion that evolves with time. I like things to be the same. For a woman I think it’s fantastic to have things that are different- it’s like a flower where every season there’s some new exotic bloom.”
-Roman Coppola

Get the Look: Jourdan Dunn Spring/Summer 2015 Burberry Lips
No doubt you have probably already fashionably feasted on the Burberry ad campaign featuring the lovely Jourdan Dunn. Here at 1966 we are always on the lookout out for more and more lip colors. We loved the the light, airy yet demure tint of Dunn’s editorial pout. For the campaign Jourdan rocked Lip Cover in Devon Sunset No.28 with the color being spread across her lips then applied more intensely right in the center of her mouth. The result was absolutely fab!

Giambattista Valli’s Dress Your Lips Collaboration With MAC Cosmetics
Paris-based designer Giambattista Valli will be releasing a fresh lip color collection in collaboration with makeup powerhouse M.A.C. Cosmetics. In regards to the much anticipated release, Valli says,
“I’m very well known for dresses, no? And I thought it was very nice, the idea of dressing your lips… For a creative person, collaborating can be frustrating because you feel that you’re limited or stuck within someone else’s ideas, but with MAC it was 100 percent freedom and 100 percent support just to make my idea become a reality, to pull out my flowers and my sense and my emotion and put it into the color.”
Well, we are totally stoked about this collection and can’t wait to try out the various tints and shades. Colors in the M.A.C. Giambattista collection range from very light pinks to deep purples and plums. Therefore, what type of lady would this collection work for the most?
Giambattista Valli dished,
“The best thing about makeup is that a lipstick can really change your look. If you never wear color on your lips and then one day you wear red, everyone just goes ‘wow! I made these for a woman with personality, a woman who lives her life and isn’t afraid to wear color and isn’t afraid to kiss!”

Get Your Man Right: Summer 2015 Shades and Hats
The heat is about to be on but we are sure your bae is going to want to stay looking cool at all costs. Accessories play a major part in keeping his style modern and as fresh as his line-up. Not all men are into necklaces or wrist bands, but a fashionable hat or shades could be a happy compromise.
Shades and hats are able to protect his eyes as well as skin from the sun and being the great woman in his life that you are, you can rest easy knowing your boo is well protected. Besides being protective such accessories really help pull a summer look together. Even the most relaxed styles receive an extra shot of charisma and flair. Don’t believe us? Just think of Tom Cruise in Top Gun or Will Smith pimping towards the President after defeating a nation of aliens in a pair of sunglasses. Or would MJ have been as much as a Smooth Criminal without his fedora? Probably, but still the proof is in the pudding, accessories easily enhance any ensemble.
