Fashionable Mention: Area x Bertoni 1949 Ling Ling Bag
A bag is a like a good sidekick. It goes where you go, always comes in handy and just plain enhances the overall experience. If you get it right, your bag will ALWAYS add instead of take away from your fashion flair.
AREA chose to incorporate handbags that are not only “set to stun” but will still exude style practicality. Any of there bags could work for a number of occasions. Plus, they are the perfect size to tote around town. Not so big that it feels like you are carrying King Kong around; but also not so small that your valuables must be decided on based on importance.
Nonetheless, the Ling Ling handbag during NYFW just stole all the couture thunder. It hails from AREA’s Spring 2019 collection which debuted at the latest season of New York Fashion Week. Bertoni 1949 had this to say in regards to the collaboration showstopper:
“All eyes on the ‘Ling Ling’ bag as the most iconic, recognizable and charming item of the collection made in collaboration with AREA. The Ling Ling bag [is also] in silver patent leather and enriched by AREA’s iconic rhinestone fringe.”
Like we said… a stunner. The entire collection boasts fashionable bags that utilize fun color as well as netting detailing. More views of the entire handbag collaboration is on the way!
