The Giambattista Valli Paris FW 2022 Runway Show was just beyond words! Every look was other-worldly breathtaking. We absolutely adored all of the ruffle, fringe, lace and bow detailing that was woven throughout the entire collection of looks.
Nevertheless, besides the couture, something we could not seem to take our eyes off of was all of the model’s glowing, eye-popping skin! Yes, from afar you could still see that each catwalker’s face shone forth one of the most gleaming; gorgeous radiance we have ever seen on the runway. It is just that mesmerizing to behold.

Giambattista Valli Paris FW 2022 Makeup Looks- Dewy Skin is Back In!
So what was the main Beauty aspect of this fashion show? Two words: DEWY SKIN. Yes, a skin trend that seems to come and go, is back again and fiercer than ever!
What is dewy skin? Well, it normally refers to skin that is glowing, smooth and extremely supple. It is well hydrated and may also resemble an appearance close to after skin is exfoliated. It’s associated with good skin maintenance, hydration and skin with a good amount of collagen. Basically, it looks VERY moisturized, almost slightly damp with an immense glow.
Girls and women often like to recreate such a natural makeup look in summer because it looks so youthful and healthy. Nevertheless, that is why we are also so shocked to see this type of look during a Fall/Winter fashion show; a season that is not known for dewy skin. However, we love the switch up. Winter skin tends to be dry, due to the drier air; therefore, seeing well moisturized skin coming down the catwalk is truly a fresh breath of makeup air!
