How to Get Rid of Bed Face Wrinkles
Did you have a rough night sleeping and woke up looking like you were in a fight with your sheets? We’ve all been there when we wake up and look in the mirror and see a horrible crisscrossing pattern tattooed on our faces. It happens, but fortunately it can be fixed with a few simple steps.
- Using a towel or a bag make a cold compress with ice. Increasing blood flow is important to reduce puffiness. Deep skin creases have swollen areas around them. Leave the compress on for no more than five minutes in each affected area.
- Use a warm, not hot, towel and gently wipe your face all over. The contrast in temperatures helps to quickly reduce the swelling. Gently wiping your face with the warm towel increases blood flow. Good circulation removes the sheet wrinkles.
- Don’t rub your face, but pat it gently to dry it. Take your favorite moisturizer and spread it thoroughly over your face and neck. After that enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea. Once you’re finished with your beverage you should look fresh and ready to go.
- Try using vitamin E on your face before bedtime to help avoid the sheet wrinkles. If all else fails, try sleeping on your back. There are lots of pillow options on the market that are supposed to prevent pressure and abrasion to the face by eliminating pressure points which reduces squashing the skin.
