Whenever a celebrity changes up their hair game the world takes notice! Tyra Banks dreadlocks has had social media in an uproar for the past couple weeks and we are still loving it! It is definitely a different hairstyle for the supermodel but it is gorgeous!

More and more celebrities are embracing natural hair. Such styles are great at protecting strands as well as allowing tresses to be styled without heat or harmful products. If you are growing out your hair or need a “transitional” hairstyle when going natural, braids or locs are the way to go.

Nevertheless, seeing Tyra Banks dreadlocks looking so luxe, we can’t but reminisce about other amazing hair looks adorned by Ty Ty. Banks has had many jaw-dropping hairstyles throughout the years. Eggs can also cure dandruff and help make hair stronger. This is because strands are composed of seventy percent protein (keratin) just like eggs. Therefore, introducing more protein into the mix can give hair the conditioning it really needs. The protein, fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants found in eggs takes brittle tresses and makes roots as well as follicles stronger.

The Egg and Banana Hair Treatment

Combine one mashed up banana with one egg.
Mix together yet keep the mixture thick.
Apply the egg and banana paste to strands and let it sit for fifteen to thirty minutes.
Wash and condition hair as usual.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane… no its simply a really cool girl with really cool hair! Maga Moura made a splash at London Fashion week with her festive rainbow ombre braids. This fashionable blogger from Brazil has become well known for her trademark braided locks. Her personality and style is truly a fresh breathe of voguish air.

Moura came to be a braid-nista after a hair treatment went south. In order to rectify the situation she had two choices: cut off the remainder or wear braids. The latter option was chosen and the rest is hair history.

To fully pull off a hair look as bold and boisterous as this one you have to have the personality to match. Maga Moura’s couture flair is just as awesome as her rainbow ombre braids. Honestly, ladies stalk her IG, her page is one masterpiece after another. Everything reads that she is true to herself and there is nothing more beautiful than that. Moura is even quoted as saying,

“People are scared of showing who they truly are, I’m here to show them that they don’t have to feel that way. Stop hiding you don’t need approval.”

Chi Haircare has just released a new ad campaign featuring one our faves Zendaya Coleman! The campaign aims to help girls to embrace their real individual beauty. As part of the #RealIsBeautiful campaign Zendaya shares her style and beauty tips. Zendaya makes a wonderful spokeswoman for the CHI Haircare brand since she does always keep it 100.

Just how real does Zendaya keep it? Well, in the past she stood up to remarks made in regards to her wearing dreads at a red carpet event. The result? Recanting of statements made and Zendaya heralded in the form of a Barbie doll, dreads and all. Coleman’s outspokenness to be comfortable and confident in your own skin has resonated with young girls the world over.

CHI Haircare is added fuel to the inspiration fire by supporting realism. The brand’s Gram profile even mentions that they just don’t want your hair to look beautiful, they want you to feel beautiful too. What a nice thought!

We have loved Brittanie Evans whether she is drawing a masterpiece or showing how she transforms into Black Barbie. One of her latest fun hair color looks involves two very bold tints, orange and pink. Normally, we would never think that orange and pink hair could look fabulous together. However, Brittanie Evans has made us believers and she even revealed how she achieved this bold hairstyle! Brittanie explained,

“I’m wearing 4 bundles of The Vanity Box brazilian wavy extensions cut into a bob. This hairstyle only took a few hours to achieve. I used two boxes of SPLAT platinum blonde to lift the color (The Vanity Box hair colors very well). Then [I] went over it with a pink and orange semi-permanent hair dye from ADORE. The hair was curled with my PYT Hair Bombshell curling wand. Voila!”

What a total doll! Plus, she definitely knows how to dye some hair. Therefore, if you are looking for some inspiration to add some splash to your strands Brittanie Evans multi-colored bob is a good choice.

Supermodel Chanel Iman attended W Mag’s “It Girl” Luncheon this week and she certainly looked the part! Iman dazzled in a two-piece Jamie Lee white pearl and lace off the shoulder ensemble. She accessorized her sultry little number with Jewelmer Joaillerie Pearl earrings from the Charleston collection. However, it was more than just her ethereal attire that caught our eye.

To compliment her stylish couture Chanel Iman wore her strands as a true crown of glory. The genius behind Chanel Iman’s gorgeous mane, Peter Anthony Perez, revealed that the hairstyle included a “texture crown braid.” This elegant hair look works great day or night and is a perfect transitional style for the upcoming spring season.

Keep this style from looking stiff by allowing baby strands as well as wisps of hair to flow freely. We love this hairstyle because it is example of effortless glamour that does not overpower the fashion. They simply compliment each other, just as they should.

Many wake up to the beautiful Tamron Hall bright and early, but we bet viewers have never seen her quite like this! The Today Show co-host had social media burning with her sleek, blunt cut pixie hairstyle. The blunt edges with longer wisps of strands framing Hall’s face gave her short locks a futuristic, modish vibe.

For award season celebrities know that they have to bring it which means fresh, innovative styling. Hall’s hair look for this year’s Golden Globes definitely fit the bill and then some. Tamron’s cut was met with mixed reviews with fans loving the look while others not so much. Some fans even compared Hall’s precision cut to Star Trek.

Nevertheless, for just a moment can we make it clap for Henson’s hair? Short hair is already sassy, sexy and cool; case in point, Halle Berry yet Taraji added her own flavor.
