What Comes First- Mascara or Eyeliner?
Beauty Quickie: Let’s pour one out and have a moment of silence for all the beauty habits that we left behind in 2015. Makeup is fun to play with but in order to look as fabulous as a celebrity or an insta-famous chick there is sort of an order of operations to get the best look possible. With this in mind we received a question towards the end of last year that begged insight as to whether what should come first when creating a beauty look, mascara or eyeliner?
To make a long answer really short, mascara should always be applied last. The reasoning behind this according to MUAs is that it is much easier to apply eyeliner when lashes are bare. When eyelashes are still nude the lash line is more visible which in turn helps to achieve a more precise eyeliner design. Moreover, once your eyeliner is beat then you can gauge how much mascara is needed (if any) to complete your look.

Green Eyes
For the past two days the beauty world has been buzzing about the green eyeshadow seen on models during the Versace runway show. Green is not usually a tint that most women naturally reach for when creating their makeup look. Nevertheless, green is a great hue for girls wanting to explore color and move on from more neutral tints. Here are few tips to keep in mind to make this runway trend your very own:
1. When applying green eyeshadow for brown eyes it is best to use a green shadow that has blue undertones. The blue will accentuate the orange undertones present in brown eyes making them pop.
2. If you want a more subtle look apply green eyeliner to your upper and lower lash lines.
3. Black mascara will match green eye shadow well so do not worry about the colors clashing if you would like to punch up your lashes.
4. A nude lip color and bronzing the skin will compliment green eyeshadow very well.
5. Lighter skin tones can wear even very celery green shadows while it is recommended that darker skin tones go for emerald, evergreen and vivid greens to create the most stunning look.

I have always tighlined my eyes since I started wearing makeup and is a technique I will continue to do.What is tightlining? It’s a way of applying your eye liner right in between your lashes. This is a great way of adding a little bit of definition to your eyes, and making the base of your lashes appear thicker. It really works and looks so natural as if you were just born with smoldering eyes.
QUICK TIP: HOW TO PREVENT YOUR EYELINER FROM RUNNING
Quick Tip: Use hairspray on the end of a q-tip and lightly spot touch your eyeliner top and bottom! Sounds crazy we know but it works wonders.
2015 Spring Makeup: Floating Eyeliner
Like fashion, sometimes us girls can find ourselves in a bit of a beauty rut.
