Confidence Building Activities -How to Do it
So then, what are some ways that one can develop as well as maintain confidence? First of all, you have to look at it almost as physical training. For instance, when you want to gain more tone or muscle what do you do?

Simple positive acknowledgments can have awesome long term effects. Eventually, harmful thoughts will be replaced with good ones and your actions will soon follow.
5 Compliment Journal- This activity is very close to the positive speaking builder, the only difference is that you will write your feelings down. Purchase a journal that will allow you to write down daily 5 positive things about yourself. Can simply be words describing yourself such as: Happy, Kind, Hard-working, Energetic and Driven.
Or you may choose to be more descriptive. Either way is acceptable and will help you to root out insecurities. Never forget that positive thoughts result in positive outcomes. So then, take time to feel great about yourself daily and watch the magic happen!

Set Goals and Challenges– Think of success like a ladder, you can’t skip rungs to get to the top without running the risk of injury. Therefore, save yourself the trouble by putting in the steady work required. Start off by setting small goals for yourself that will help you to reach your bigger goals.
For example, if you desire to be in better shape. Start off by having the goal of working out for 20 minutes three to five times a week. Once that becomes routine you have accomplished your goal! Next, challenge yourself to try a new exercise or bump up your workouts to 25 or 30 minutes.
As you set, work towards and accomplish your goals you will be simultaneously building more confidence. It is a win win situation that will leave you in a better state mentally, emotionally as well as physically.
Workout and Exercise– Speaking of physically, ever heard the saying, “When you look good, you feel good?” Well, it is as true now as it was when the first man or woman uttered it.
Exercise not only releases endorphins so that you will feel happier, but it can help you look your best as well. Now we are not saying you have to be super skinny to have confidence. No, but being healthy for your body type can help you feel more powerful, influential and commanding.
You are the commander and captain of your life. Feeling your best can put you in a positive space that allows you to take control because your quality of self has improved. It may have started outside, however, you will be most affected inwardly.

Our Style Ambassador Carlifonia Presents Tuesday Motivation!
We hope that you have been enjoying all our posts designed to help develop confidence and pursue any and all dreams! Not all whether male or female are born with positive vibes or a powerful outlook on life. Of course dressing the part so to speak is a great way to not only express yourself but to gain a more positive view of oneself. However, we believe it is more than just fashions or clothes that truly make the woman.
Our Style Ambassador for her post this week enlightened us on what helps her to view life as being amazingly golden. She explained,
“Though time can determine when [things are] to start and when it is time to let go, sometimes it does not. We live through time, but I make the decision to choose to pick up [or focus on] moments that present to me necessities of life, those being: Love, peace, hope and joy. Those things I choose to wake up to every day, every morning. Therefore, since I aim to love myself I am my own necessity of life #womenarepower.”
We absolutely love her view on life and we hope you have enjoyed it too! Of course, we have to touch on Carlfonia’s style for just a moment. Don’t you just love her pair of glasses! Many girls are afraid to dive into anything considered “geek chic” but take a page from our Style Ambassador’s fashion book and incorporate some edge into your look at the same time to still look effortlessly cool. How to Transform Into a Queen
If you were to take a poll you would find that most women are not born feeling naturally self confident and reassured of their greatness. This fact is not surprising when a serious examination of the times is taken into account. We live among a media storm of imagery and verbiage that mainly thrusts the external beauty of a woman into the forefront. Nevertheless, true confidence will only take shape if the inner person, who we are inwardly is beautiful. Confidence radiants from the inside out not vice versa.
The term “queen” seems to denote different things to different people when used to describe a woman’s demeanor. Most agree that it normally encompasses a woman that is emotionally strong, confident and oozes a certain power or Je ne sais quoi over all. She is not a push-over because she knows her worth and will not allow anyone to diminish it. If someone tries to pull some “bull” it is not tolerated and she will even speak her mind tactfully to show she does not care for the mistreatment. How can a woman transform into such a queen?
1. Let Go of the Past– This is probably one of the toughest things on this planet to do, but your mind and heart will surely thank you. Unlike in the movies there is no time machine, potion or personage that can change the past. What has happened has simply happened and we must be accepting of all former dealings. Focusing on such things as past mistakes or something not working out the way we wanted does not help to produce better vibes. In the film Baggage Claim Paula Patton’s character is told by a close friend, “Same actions, same outcomes…new actions, new outcomes.” Therefore, accept the past and learn from it so that you do things differently in the future for your betterment.
2. Tell Yourself Your Amazing– Shout it out ladies! Reciting a positive mantra daily or simply saying in your mind that you are wonderful can have a serious effect on your mindset. As the saying goes if you think it you can achieve it. If you WANT to feel great and WANT to have a better life it is possible to think yourself there.
3. Think Positively– Since we are on the subject of positive thinking you will be happy to know that psychologists even confirm that if a person thinks positively on anything it is more likely to end with a positive result. As crazy as it may seem, how we think is conducive to how things work out for us. If you have the right mindset your actions will suddenly work towards a favorable and positive outcome. So then, put the odds in your favor by remaining optimistic.
4. Speak Up– Never allow anyone to get away with saying or doing something that is wrong. However, this does not mean yelling, screaming or any sort of retaliation. Be mature about the situation and calmly say that you do not like what was said or done. Always be graceful and do not let anyone allow you to lose your cool because once you lose it that person then gains your power in the situation. They have won by getting you to act in a manner that goes against your true character. Some people live to see others upset and still others are sadly just not aware of all the problems they are causing. Nevertheless, the only way to get what you want and maintain happiness is to speak up. Speak up in all things whether its school, work, friends, family, relationships or social situations. Let yourself be heard because no great queen throughout history was ever silent.
Love Yourself This Summer
I know this time of season we are all consumed into looking great for summer by toning up, changing our hair color and so on. But at the end of the day the most important thing is to learn to Love Yourself. If you don’t love yourself heavy or curvy, you won’t love yourself skinny either. It’s not a magic fix for all problems. So make sure you take care of your inner-self. That will shine through no matter what size we are. I’m sure we all know ladies that may be heavy by the medias standards but they are so outgoing, they seem to have so many friends and guys are all over them. Why? It’s because they love themselves which exudes confidence and those are shinning qualities that no Pilates or exercise DVD can give you.
