For their upcoming edition, Vogue Australia reveals that Kelly Rowland touches upon future music, life insights as well as the tragic loss of her mother four years ago. Regarding their exclusive with Rowland Vogue states,
“Asked what she would do if she could rewrite any part of her history, Kelly says: ‘I would have told my mum that I really appreciated her; that she was bold; courageous, she was beautiful and that I wish I really told her to her face. I didn’t think she was ever really told that.’
Rowland, whose mother, Doris Rowland Garrison, died in 2014; is currently working on a new album which will tackle love, loss and life. ‘The record about my mother I have yet to put into words; and it will be the hardest record I will ever write.’
