Catch Nicki Minaj on The Ellen Show today to see her in all of her fabulousness and holding a giant butt check (we will explain that). Nevertheless, if you can’t get to a TV in time we have a quick recap of what is all going down. Here’s our warning now, especially all of you on the west coast: expect spoilers!

Okay, so remember when Nicki was on Twitter paying tuitions? A very kind gesture that helped out a ton of hard-working students. Well it looks like Nicki is still inspired by her previous act of paying it forward.

On The Ellen Show Nicki Minaj continued sharing her generosity. Ellen via social media talked all about this stating,

“Did you see The Ellen Show today? So grateful for the donation she made via Shutterfly for more kids to go to college! 25 thousand dollars! Love her!

Nicki told me she wants to start a foundation to help pay for kids’ tuition. I can get behind that.”

Isn’t all of this great ladies?! 2017 is proving to be the year of helping young people build confidence and succeed. From black women like Octavia Spencer buying out theaters so that youths and individuals in black communities could take in the inspiring story of Hidden Figures. To Beyonce starting a scholarship program. Stars are giving back today in order to help shape a better tomorrow. Thank you Nicki for your kindness and we hope to see this trend continue in the future!

Yara Shahidi Wearing Solace London Pre-Fall 2017 at ABC Upfronts

If you were to look up the word stunning in the dictionary most likely you would see Yara Shahidi’s picture right next to the definition. The busy beauty is currently doing press at ABC Upfronts. Yara stepped out in chic ensemble from the Solace London Pre-Fall 2017 collection.

Moreover, at ABC Upfronts it was confirmed that Shahidi’s spin-off of the wildly successful Black-ish is a definite go. College-ish will premiere in early 2018 on Freeform network. So far at least 13 episodes are on deck to air.

Yara’s show takes it’s influence from the popular retro television series, A Different World which starred Zoe Kravitz’s mama Lisa Bonet. College-ish will follow Shahidi’s breakout character, Zoey Johnson as she goes to college and comes to the realization that not everything will be perfect. Especially, now that she’s left the nest.

Well College-ish certainly sounds like a show that no one will want to miss. Furthermore, Yara’s fashion seen today could not be missed either! She paired her stripped top from the Solace London Pre-Fall 2017 collection with black pants and strappy heels. From every angle Yara Shahidi was killing it.

Actor Bernard David Jones got the chance to snap a quick pic with fashionable Yara. In reference to their moment together Jones said, “I had the great pleasure of spending time talking to this super cool, down to earth, talented and crazy intelligent beauty Yara Shahidi! She’s my channel mate! I can’t wait to see College-ish on ABC Freeform. [Wishing her] good luck at Harvard!”

For the Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales premiere (whew, say that fives times fast) Skai Jackson wore a textured bob. Adding texture gives hair slightly more body and dimension. We are almost feeling like this hair look should be considered a lob, since it falls right at shoulder length. However, her amazing stylist says bob, so its a bob hunty! Skai Jackson’s cute hairstyle is a creation of Los Angeles hair stylist, Alexander Armand.

Nevertheless, the part of this particular style that we loved the most is her bang. The length was absolutely perfect. It wasn’t so short that it looked odd or so long that it looked uncomfortably resting in her eyes. It was just right and added a nice touch of panache to the overall look.

Fashion Notes: Did you think we were really going to leave you hanging on the fashion tip ladies? Skai’s dazzling printed floor length dress is by Alice + Olivia. At times, long dresses can really drown a petite girl. However, the tailoring on this dress ensures that Jackson isn’t “lost” in the design. She is wearing it, instead of it wearing her.
