The summer of the braid has officially started. This is great news for our natural hair wearing girls and actually all of us can benefit from such a stylish hairstyle. Its easy to assemble and is a great protective hairdo to combat the summer heat and other destructive elements. From box braids to fishtails they are all up for grabs and you will look like you walked right off a runway. Don’t be afraid to be a little a messy with the styling as well, this braiding trend is not about looking overly polished or perfected. It’s kind of like you just woke up that way.
I have some female friends who would rather die than put on a pair flats. It always amazes me the great lengths and pains women will suffer through in the name of fashion. Even a famous SNL skit joked of this simple truth with a character uttering the words, “It’s better to look good than to feel good.”

They may not be heels but we assure you that people will be looking down at your feet. The price tag is a little hefty ranging from 800 to over 1000 big ones. However, we will scour the net to see if Cheap Can Be Chic. So look out for future post shoe game lovers!
A little trend from the runway is back and with a fury. You may recall several designers engaging in the whole sock and heel trend a few seasons back. Many had mixed feelings about it, some thought it was fabulous others thought leave in the 80’s. However, that hasn’t stopped designers from trying it again with some even taking it a step further.
Chanel engaged the look in their spring and summer 2014 creations then Prada upped the ante by pairing heels with leg warmers. The look can be cool if you have the risk taker vibe down pact. Keep in mind that this style can’t look contrived it has to just truly come through from your personality. If you are fun, free-spirited then most likely you can have fun with this trend and pull it off well. So ladies will any of you be rocking the heels with socks, stockings or leg warmers trend?
We all need them so there is no way of getting around it, handbags a necessary part of fashion life. Trends come and go, but the right selection of bags can last you quite awhile. A flap bag that caught our eye is the Chanel Red Cube Boy handbag from the S/S 2014 collection. Even though the bag is a bright red that translates well for summer, as the winter months roll in it will still be a great handbag to add a pop a color to otherwise quite drab winter wear colors.

Don’t expect for this new model to be cheap either, tech gurus the world over are warning consumers now about “premium pricing.” As more details become available we will sure to give you the 411.
