The best way I can describe it to my clients is to think about using a broom to clean a house. You take that broom and sweep up, cleaning out dirt or anything else you don’t want lying around. Gua Sha movements act like a sweeper, gliding across your face to remove any congestion or waste.

That’s why skin ends up looking so great after because everything is flowing properly because there are no blocks. However, lymphatic drainage has to be carried out in the right order if you want to see the most benefits; which is why it is good to seek out a professional.

Good Morning!

Thanks for stopping by 1966. We are halfway through the week already and the weekend shall once more be upon us (throws up appropriate hand sign LOL). This morning I wanted to talk about a granny beauty tip. Most likely we all have them, whether our grandmothers shared something with us point blank or maybe picked up something helpful from observation. Some of the best tips that can be found are the ones we receive from our moms and grandmas.

Its usually not till we’re a little older that we realize the benefits of their advice. My granny always told me to moisturize my face every morning and night. Being a tomboy you think moisturizer was the first thing on my mind? Of course not, all I wanted to do was splash water mixed with soap and go outside and play some sport or climb a tree.

Vacation or not most of us want to look our best, who knows we might just get our groove back right? Therefore, what can be done if you’re in a pinch when it comes to walking the streets of your destination location wrinkle-free?

A good alternative to a regular iron is using a flat iron on low heat to iron your fashions. Always start at a lower heat and gradually adjust the heat up for really unruly wrinkles. Make sure the flat iron is clean and free of any oils (because let’s face it we use it for our hair LOL) before beginning.
