On the heels of her latest album release, Queen; the stunning Nicki Minaj is a cover girl for the Vogue Arabia September 2018 issue! Nicki joins the ranks of Rihanna, Beyoncé, Tracee Ellis Ross, Naomi Campbell and Issa Rae; in an unprecedented amount of September covers featuring black women.

September is the biggest edition of the year for any magazine. Therefore, being a feature star on one is nothing to bat an eye about. Moreover, like Beyoncé, Nicki is making even more amazing history with her Vogue edition. Minaj is now the first EVER female rapper to cover Vogue. Now that is black girl magic!

The Vogue Arabia September 2018 edition boasts not one, but two chic covers. On cover one, Nicki rocks a stylish black dress from the Christian Siriano Fall/Winter 2018 collection. While on cover two she dons a Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2018 suit ensemble.

Nonetheless, this Vogue digest does not just want it’s readers to only take in their glamorous visuals. Inside Nicki gets real on just about everything. Vogue Arabia reveals,

“The Vogue Arabia September issue is here with Nicki Minaj landing her first ever Vogue cover. ‘I’m not here to play, I’m just as smart, talented, and creative as any man,’ says the rapper; whose fourth album, Queen, jumped straight to number one in 85 countries.

London has been set ablaze with fiery hot menswear fashion shows. Besides all of the male eye candy the couture is getting us just as warm under our stylish collars. The Nasir Mazhar Autumn/Winter 2015 collection gave us a slight late 90’s vibe when hip hop artists were wearing those puffed up, shiny ensembles. If you don’t remember or were not alive slide on over to google and look up Diddy as well as Mase then get back to us. The fashions were very bold and in your face, so if your man loves to be seen he will love this collection. One of our favorite pieces from the collection were a pair of green and black sporty looking pants. They looked comfy but had really neat panel detailing that gave them a cool flair.

Top hats may be a more male-driven fashion, however the accessory can look just as elegant and sophisticated on women. We spotted the top hat during an equestrian themed runway show for fall/winter fashion week in Toronto, Canada. Pair the hat with denim, boots, khakis, blazers, long coats and even a nicely tailored suit. With such a stylish hat you are bound to make a strong fashion statement.

Streetstyle: Hood and Snapback Combo

It is cold outside even here in normally sunny southern California. Keeping warm and staying in style can be a challenge especially when all you want to do is bundle and wrap up like a burrito. Nevertheless, we remember some cool layering by Angel Haze when she attended the menswear Givenchy fashion show in Paris, France. Angel didn’t just wear a hat, but she then added a hoodie on top. The backwards hat will always be cool in our book and layering on an outerwear piece with a hood just seals the urban fashion deal.

Drop a mean looking outfit as temperatures outside continue to drop low. That may have just sounded like the hardest album in 2014 about to hit the music scene, but we’re firm believers that the right jeans can go just as hard. When it comes to denim always remember that style is just as important as the right fit.

We have loved all the ripped jeans we have spotted from the runway to the streets. They were apart of the Triton 2014 Winter Womens Runway Collection during Brazil Fashion Week and a pair were seen on supermodel Joan Smalls while walking the streets of Paris. With the ripped jean style you can be more conservative with just a few slight rights or go very bold with huge holes and shreds. Complete an outfit by pairing them with a slouchy tee-shirt, sweater/sweatshirt, leather jacket and heels or boots.

I have never met a sneaker that I didn’t like and with that being said I have been a proud Nike wearer for as long as I can remember. My addiction was so strong, alright everyone altogether, “How strong was it?” My addiction was so strong that my mother had to ban me from buying them because that was the only type of shoe and brand that I wanted to wear out in public…with everything.

Even with my lovely mother’s decree my love for Nike never dimmed and I still wear them, I actually have a pair on right now as I type this (LOL). Therefore, I am constantly checking to see what’s new with the best sneakers on this planet. For winter, Nike has designed another pair for their Roshe Run collection and I think the shoe is sleek and ingenious. For anyone who has ever partook in a winter run maybe even in the rain knows that having the right shoe is everything. The right sneaker will help you endure longer during your workout session and of course perserve your feet. One very cool aspect of this shoe is the weather resistent build that runs along the top of the sneaker. So then, you will be able to fight the elements and look good doing it with this sleek silhouette from Nike.

When it’s cold layering is essential to keeping warm and being able to easily remove clothing if things get a little too hot for your liking. There is often the common thought if you layer too much of the same item things can tend to look a little funny and not in a good way. However, if done right layering a full outfit with denim or leather on leather (shown) can be cool, chic and very modern.
