Behind The Scenes: Rihanna W Magazine September 2016 Issue
Drake must be grinning from ear to ear after seeing Rihanna’s latest editorial! The Rihanna W Magazine September 2016 issue is out of this world fantastic! From the styling to the makeup it is amazingly intense!
Rihanna W Magazine September 2016
If we had to guess which celebrity would probably survive if the world came to an end Rihanna would be high on the list. She has mastered the art of truly being herself in an industry full of fabrication. Plus, she has overcome negativity and past lukewarm sales to become one of the biggest artists of all time!
She is deemed a fashion icon and has even surpassed MJ on the charts when it comes to number ones. If she can achieve being one of the last musicians of her “time” to still be relevant over a decade later. Rihanna can definitely be the last woman standing here on earth.
Simply Wow
No one can do it like a badgal. The Rihanna W magazine September 2016 editorial is a moody masterpiece. Photography was lensed by the extremely gifted Steven Klein. Also, styling for the shoot was of course handled by the one and only Edward Enninful.
Nevertheless, we cannot ignore the exquisite makeup looks adorned by Rihanna. The extraordinary beauty looks were designed by the infamous Pat McGrath. Pat went all out even creating 3D art that intensified Rihanna’s facial features. As a result, RiRi seems to pop right off the page and she looks like she missed her calling as a supermodel.
However, don’t just take our word for it. Check out a behind the scene look of Rihanna’s photo shoot.
Furthermore, if you liked that here is the full length version. Also, keep sliding down to see Rihanna’s sick editorial. Enjoy Navy!

Model Alexis Primous Goes From Instagram to W Magazine Editorial!
With the world becoming more visual and smaller due to social media many hopefuls hope to be seen as well as discovered. Our feature photographer was just mentioning how many times you will see IG bios including an email as well as the words, “Serious inquires only!” Moreover, what about the countless memes joking about males and females being models apart of the Instagram modeling agency?
Those scenarios and situations only highlight the dream of going from Instagram unknown to a major force to be reckoned with in the modeling world. Nevertheless, for one fortunate young lady that is exactly what happened! Model Alexis Primous took part in an Instagram model search that was conducted in behalf of IMG Models as well as W Magazine. The search turned out to be fruitful giving girls from all over the chance to show off their modeling abilities instead of having to go to cities such as NYC or Los Angeles. Alexis hails from Florida proving that a Instagram contest can discover talent in all places quickly.
Primous beat out hundreds of hopefuls in order to star in her very first editorial. Looking at the photos of her shoot will amaze you by her talent level rendering her a complete natural in front of the camera. Alexis poses like a vet so that it is so hard to believe that it was her first shoot ever.
Alexis Primous’ editorial is solidifying her as a promising new face in the modeling industry. Her editorial which can be found in the September issue of W mag is 14 pages deep. The shoot was styled by the fab Edward Enninful and lensed by Mario Sorrenti.
Editorial Notes:
Fashions Worn– Dior, Chloé and Miu Miu
Hair– Recine
Makeup– Yadim

Edward Enninful Styles Jourdan Dunn for W Magazine June 2015
We are fans of Ghanaian stylist Edward Enninful and we were delighted to see his latest work for W magazine. In the June 2015 edition, Enninful got to dress up the beautiful Jourdan Dunn for an editorial showcasing fashions we can’t wait to rock once the heat wave ends. Many of the season’s trends seem to spill on over i.e. stripes, florals and patchwork pants. Moreover, are we the only ones that are absolutely in love with those globe earrings? The entire editorial is simply genius and had an all star team to boot. Hair and makeup were handled by Shon Hyungsun Ju as well as Frankie Boyd and the shoot was lensed by Alasdair McLellan.
Aamito Lagum & Senait Gidey Star in W Magazine May 2015 Editorial
Gorgeous models Aamito Lagum and Senait Gidey are serving up some classic vintage glam for W magazine. The pair wears relaxed fashions that include sweaters, chic dress pants, button down tops and bell bottom “flared” pants. The retro feel of the shoot still comes across fresh which makes the couture invoke a more modern twist on the decade that was and the trends that emerged from that moment in time. We really got a kick out of the shoe-wear that although quite boisterous came across muted blending seamlessly with the ensembles as a whole.

Black Hairstyles: Rihanna Brings Back Bobby Pins W Magazine Korea
Remember when Rihanna made headlines when she performed her hit song Diamonds while wearing her hair in a wrap?
Well, we thought we would never see visible bobby pins and Rihanna in the same setting for some time, but boy were we wrong! The pins have reemerged for the March 2015 issue of W Magazine Korea, but in a little different style.
This time around only the front of RiRi’s hair received the pin treatment and the was rest was left to hang freely. Rihanna has taken black hairstyles to a whole different level and she has put it on display for the whole world to see.
We personally like the visible pin look, which has been seen during a number of runway shows and celebrity hair stylist Larry Sims created a similar look for singer Dawn Richards. Nevertheless, whether this look could translate into everyday life without looking too messy or unkempt is the real issue.
For now we say leave this look for editorial shoots or occasions you want to really make a strong style statement.
