2016 Beauty Trend: Nude Nails
We’re living in a world where we buy one thing and two seconds later it’s yesterday’s news. From our smartphones to our Jimmy Choos, everything seems to come packaged with an end of cool date. The beauty world is no exception to the expiration rule. Beauty trends come and go, but one trend that we are proud to say made it another year in the realm of fabulosity is one that is actually quite a lifesaver too. The 2016 Beauty Trend that is a girl’s best friend and a nail color classic is nude nails.
Nude nails are like the equivalent of the black heel, it will basically go with everything. No guesswork, no fretting and absolutely no fear of the dreaded discoloration often connected and associated with darker nail tints.

Cool Factor: Nude nails just a tad too much of, how do we say, a bore? Welp, you would not be alone. Many shy away from the tint due to its very conservative vibe. Nevertheless, don’t be afraid to add some embellishments in order to take things up a notch.
We are still reminiscing of the nail look we spotted for the Lie Sangbong Spring/Summer 2016 Collection. Nails were given a textured effect. You can get the same look by applying a coat of your favorite creamy/neutral nail polish to clean and filed nails. Then apply two coats of a textured topping such as Jinsoon x Barney’s Sahara Topping. Finish things off will a coat of glossy topcoat and you’ll be the belle of the nail art ball.

Beauty Nail Trend: Barely There
Barely there nail color is a huge trend for this season. How can you make this look your very own in a cinch? Paint on a nail shade in the pale pink family or coat on a beautiful nude tint. The barely there nail trend was seen during shows for Rachel Zoe, Proenza Schouler and Derek Lam.
2015 Spring Runway Nails Trend: Sheer Nude
If you are looking for a classy and very expensive looking manicure style for spring as well as summer you should consider trying out a sheer nude look. Sheer nude nails were spotted during runway shows for Lela Rose and Nanette Lepore. How can you get this look?
First, apply a base coat or foundation that has a very creamy look and feel to it. Doing this will help to magically even out or minimize any imperfections found on the nail bed. Now with this one step your look can be complete but if you are the type of lady that likes a little more oomph then on a select few nails add a little bling. For the Lela Rose fashion show little pearl-like studs were delicately placed on select nails which added a very chic flair!

Nail Trend Autumn/Winter 2014: Metallics and Gray
If you are searching for a nail color to test out this season you may opt for a tint in the gray family or metallics. Metallic shades are a great way to add some extra bling to your nail look, especially if you are not so proficient at adding jewels or other embellishments to your nail designs. Moreover, a shade of gray will help give off the same feel just in a more muted fashion.

It’s an old adage that fall and winter fashions have to be drab, dark colors. Spice things up a bit this season by incorporating bright, bold shades even in your nail designs. Designer Lindsay Degen teamed up with OPI in order to create a nail design to complement her fun, colorful fashions that even included reflective fabrics as well as knitwear.
