2014 has definitely been the year of Lupita Nyong’o and we hope her reign as a style queen never comes to an end. Lupita has once again changed up her look and we love it! Nyong’o was attending a Marie Claire event in West Hollywood, California and hit the red carpet in a fashionable dress by Giambattista Valli as well as a noticeably different hairstyle. The lovely Oscar winner wore her locks up, looking full and fabulous. An excellent look for all our naturalistas out there.
Lancôme Announces New Ambassador: Lupita Nyong’o, Academy Award winner for “Best Supporting Actress” for her role as Patsy in the highly acclaimed film “12 Years a Slave”. It’s great to see the shift in Lancôme business model for only catering to lighter skin tones. Lancôme has now had Jasmine Tooke, Arlenis Sosa back in 2008 and now we have Lupita Nyong’o.
“I am truly honored to join the Maison Lancôme, a brand with such a prestigious history and that I have always loved. Lupita Nyong’o looked every bit of a Hollywood superstar as she graced the red carpet at the 2014 Golden Globes. As if her caped Ralph Lauren dress wasn’t enough of an attention-grabber, Lupita’s makeup look for the night was just as stunning. Even though it was quite understated, it allowed her natural beauty to shine through. Lupita’s eyes were accentuated with eyeliner while her lip color was matched to the shade of her glamorous gown.
