Can Dandruff Be Controlled With Mouthwash?

Can Dandruff Be Controlled With Mouthwash

Hair Quickie: We always believe that you should get as much bang for your buck when it comes to household items. Dandruff is an unsightly hair issue that can be caused by environmental exposure to extreme heat or cold and by using too many hair products i.e. hair gel, pomades or hairspray. Mouthwash can be used for more than controlling bad breath, it can also help to control flakes. Use a cotton ball to dab on mouthwash and let it sit for half an hour before shampooing tresses like normal. Regular use can help stamp out dandruff as well as cast out bacteria on your scalp or in your strands.

Black Hair Care: Dry Hair With a Paper Towel

black hair care paper towel to dry hair

They don’t call it the quilted paper picker upper for nothing! Investing in a roll of Bounty or other brand of paper towels could be the simplest as well as cheapest fix to preventing your hair from looking like a finger was inserted into a socket. It has become widely known the average towel can be not only too rough on strands but can cause added frizz.

Now if you are a natural hair wearing lady preventing curls or waves from losing shape or puffing into some unknown entity is probably of utmost concern. To combat this issue many women choose to use a tee shirt because of the softer fibers in order to help remove excess water from their hair. Another option would be simply to use a paper towel.

Paper towels will cause less friction and absorb more water than a towel made out of cloth. Moreover, since more water is absorbed then hair drying and styling can be sped up. To decrease puffiness, gently wring your tresses with a paper towel after washing and conditioning. Even though this tip was mentioned with naturalistas in mind, it would work for anyone drying their hair.

How to Comb Wet Natural Hair

How to comb wet natural hair-teyana taylor

Combing your hair correctly can save you a lot of pain and from breaking or snapping strands of your hair unnecessarily. First things first, you are the realest (sorry couldn’t help it LOL); secondly, keep in mind that combing wet strands has to be done systematically. Meaning you will need to comb hair in sections and in a manner that will lean more towards being gentle. As you work through sections start at the ends and work your way through to the roots.

What type of comb you use is also very important in the untangling process. Make sure that you use a comb that has wide teeth that are softly rounded. Such a comb will allow hair to pass through easier preventing more knots from being formed. Help your comb by also using your fingers to untangle tougher strands of hair that have become entwined. Lastly, using a detangler product or applying a leave-in conditioner will also help the comb slide with greater ease through your tresses.

Do guys prefer Straight or Curly hair

Girls could go crazy trying to make themselves look more attractive for a guy. You might start wearing less makeup, exercise more, change your clothing or take up a new hobby that you know he’s into. Other women fret over the look of their hair and wonder if their new beau likes curly hair or straight hair.

Well, the answer is most guys don’t even really notice those details as long as it’s styled nicely and is long (let’s face it most guys like long hair).

However, their could be little signals you put out their by wearing your hair straight or curly. For instance, straight hair looks can be shiny and feel more groomed than curly hair. Now this could be perceived as being more of a serious person, high-maintenance or self-absorbed than those with curly hair.

It could be taken to seem that you need every strand in place or you will go nuts.

With curly hair it’s less serious.  A curly hair woman shows a carefree attitude knowing that every hair follicle may not be in place, but their OK with it because they are comfortable in their own skin. So, ladies don’t take your hair too seriously. Try to find a middle ground to your hair obsessions – maybe pick up the flat iron a little less and let your hair just do it’s thing,  It’s more attractive to be yourself for sure.
