The thing about fashion week is that it makes you just want to skip over various seasons in order to start wearing some of these awesome fashions! For example, the Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2015 show just blew us away with all of the exquisite tailoring, sophisticated designs and lovely emerald green ensembles. Now of course, Lais Ribiero would look amazing even in a paper sack, but when Lais walked out in an emerald green jumpsuit it was OVER! Just wave your hands in the air from side to side like you don’t care goodness!
As you have probably noticed, this post has included some bolding as well as several exclamation points. Can’t you just feel our excitement over this piece? Besides the lush and plush emerald green shade we are in love with the plunging V neck line. You may recall celebrities such as Rihanna getting in on the gray hair revolution. Nevertheless, now things are being stepped up a bit by adding in an ombre effect.
Ombre hair color is where the hair color starts off dark and gradually gets lighter as you move towards the tips or ends of strands. Besides RiRi, actress Dascha Polanco who plays on the hit show Orange is The New Black went gray ombre with purple tips. This hair tint can be extremely rough or harsh on your hair. Therefore, what can you do to protect your hair if you are thinking of going gray?
Going to such extreme colors means that you should take extreme measures to protect your hair. It is recommended that you pre-treat or prep your hair with oils and deep conditioners for about a week before the process. Dying your hair can be quite drying which is why some women end up with a “fried” hair look. Moreover, deep conditioning your locks will be be necessary since your tresses will need to be lifted to a platinum blonde shade in order for the true color to show up.
What if your natural hair color is very dark? For women with natural darker shade of hair keep in mind that going so light will not be a simple walk-in and walk out process. It should be noted that in order to safely dye your hair gray it usually takes two processes.

We personally like the visible pin look, which has been seen during a number of runway shows and celebrity hair stylist Larry Sims created a similar look for singer Dawn Richards. Nevertheless, whether this look could translate into everyday life without looking too messy or unkempt is the real issue.
For now we say leave this look for editorial shoots or occasions you want to really make a strong style statement.

Nicki was front row for the Alexander Wang Fall 2015 runway show and wore her long locks up in a high ponytail with a full bang. We loved the thicker texture of her hair instead of a tail of super sleek strands. A simple hairstyle that still screams I am a Diva.

You simply can’t just slide your arms through your coat anymore and walk out the door if you want to look fashion forward. Take a page out of the stylish and diva books of Rihanna as well as Beyonce. The pair attended NYFW for fall 2015 and each wore their coats fabulously. RiRi let hers slide gracefully off her shoulders while Queen Bey had her arms out of her jacket completely allowing it just to rest of her shoulders. Diana Ross is a tough act to follow but her stylish daughter Tracee Ellis Ross continues to fill those shoes seamlessly. She has a hit television show on air (Black*ish) and took time out of her busy schedule to join Nene Leakes of RHOA on Watch What’s Happening Live with Andy Cohen. Ross looked flawless last night in a sparkling jumpsuit (we wanted it bad!) and her signature curly hair.
What we also took note of her was her stunning pink lip color. With spring right around the corner you will want to get your beauty hands on a lovely pink shade such as the one Tracee wore. Pinks as well as other light and airy colors coincide with spring fashions effortlessly. Just be sure to do as Tracee and keep the rest of your makeup streamlined so that your lips are the shining star.
Of course there are products out on the market that could help with this matter, but the right haircut can do the trick as well. Now do not fear we are not talking about anything drastic especially if your goal is to retain length. Layering your hair will not only give it more movement but it will give it the illusion of having more volume. Simply have your hairdresser add a few subtle layers and you will have a fuller look without sacrificing any length.
