Acne seems to rear its evil little head in the most inconvenient ways. Prevention is the key to avoiding having to deal with pimples and zits. Unless genetics comes into play the most common reason for acne is plugged skin.
Plugged skin is caused by the building up of dead skin and oil in a pore. Oil build up can increase in pores when bacteria are present. Also, lots of skin cells can shut pores or oil glands creating whiteheads or blackheads.
Therefore, it is important to regularly clean your hair and keep it off your face especially during nighttime hours. Keep your hands off your face as much as possible and shower immediately after working out. Moreover, be careful not to scratch, pick, rub or squeeze your skin because this can make acne worse and cause scarring.
