This was just too cool to pass up so we HAD to write about it. Legendary makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench is a chip off the old block (sorry we couldn’t help it LOL) and created Lego Masks for the Agi & Sam fashion show. Lego masks protruded from the model’s faces as they walked the catwalk with some masks simply outlining facial features while other Lego designs completely covered them. The designs were very fitting for the “Coolman” collection and we loved the ‘out of the box’ concept.
Oliver Spencer Fall/Winter 2015 Collection
Alright, alright, alright, alrighttttttt! Major props and accolades for the Oliver Spencer Fall/Winter 2015 Collection. The couture found in this runway show is relaxed chic at its finest. From the use of fabrics including lambswool and cashmere to the slightly over-sized fits everything looked tailored yet unrestrained. The looks are for the guy who’s confident, collected and nonchalant. We loved the bold suits, bomber jackets as well as cropped trousers. Wonderful fashions from start to finish and congratulations on an amazing show!
Nasir Mazhar Autumn Winter 2015 Fashion Show
London has been set ablaze with fiery hot menswear fashion shows. Besides all of the male eye candy the couture is getting us just as warm under our stylish collars. The Nasir Mazhar Autumn/Winter 2015 collection gave us a slight late 90’s vibe when hip hop artists were wearing those puffed up, shiny ensembles. If you don’t remember or were not alive slide on over to google and look up Diddy as well as Mase then get back to us. The fashions were very bold and in your face, so if your man loves to be seen he will love this collection. One of our favorite pieces from the collection were a pair of green and black sporty looking pants. They looked comfy but had really neat panel detailing that gave them a cool flair.
How to Prime Eyelids Without Primer
Beauty Quickie: Ever wake up in the morning and realize the little corner of product inside your tube of makeup was actually gone days ago? Running out of a beauty product can happen to the best of us but should not cause you anxiety. If you need to prime lids for eye makeup first apply moisturizer followed by foundation. These steps will help lock your makeup in place just like primer.

Fashionable Mention: Top Hats
Break away from the beanies, snap-backs as well as fedoras and opt for a total out of the box look…the top hat. Top hats may be a more male-driven fashion, however the accessory can look just as elegant and sophisticated on women. We spotted the top hat during an equestrian themed runway show for fall/winter fashion week in Toronto, Canada. Pair the hat with denim, boots, khakis, blazers, long coats and even a nicely tailored suit. With such a stylish hat you are bound to make a strong fashion statement.

Maybelline New York Master Glaze By FaceStudio
1966 Magazine Editor Alicia Suggs dishes on her new favorite beauty product and explains why it could just be your next beauty buy as well.
1966: Okay Alicia so tell us about this product that you are obsessed with now.
Alicia: Alright, it’s called Maybelline New York Master Glaze By FaceStudio and the shade that I am currently wearing in the picture is Make a Mauve. I love it because at times I have such a hard time finding a blush that will give me a more natural flush. I have a very yellow undertone to my skin so applying strong red or super pink blushes makes me look like Homie the Clown (laughs). Not a good look!
1966: What type of blush do you normally wear then?
Alicia: I usually just stick to a blush that is more peachy-orange. I find that such a shade is more universally pleasing on all skin tones so I stick to that family of tints. However, I love the look of rosy cheeks on women, to me it gives such a youthful, fresh look to the skin.
1966: Agreed. So then, why do you recommend Maybelline New York Master Glaze?
Alicia: If you have a strong undertone like me, you already know the struggle. This product seems to almost diffuse the yellow undertone giving me a nice warm complexion. Also, it lasts and stays on all day without having to reapply which helps save on product and money in the end.
1966: Thanks Alicia for taking the time the share and everyone go check out Maybelline New York Master Glaze by FaceStudio!
In a Pinch
Beauty Quickie: Tweezing your brows does not have to be a painful experience, this beauty routine can be fixed in a pinch (all pun intended). Begin by softening your skin with a cotton ball that has been soaked with warm water or facial cream. Dab the cotton all over the tweeze area before you start to pluck.
