Detox the Body With Physical Exercise
Staying fit during winter can pose as a challenge due to harsh temperatures that may keep you shut up inside. However, maintaining a good exercise routine despite any of life’s many obstacles will help keep you healthy from the inside out. What are the many benefits of physical activity?
Physical activity supports the removal of waste, oxygenates cells and stimulates the lymphatic system. This stimulation is vital since unlike our cardiovascular system, the lymphatic system requires activity or movement to function properly. The lymphatic system uses our largest organ, our skin to release toxins. Therefore, when we exercise and work up a sweat we are thus releasing and removing toxins from our body. There are many methods to detox our bodies, but the good old natural way is always best.
Can’t Sleep? Eat Cherries
Beauty Quickie: Sleep and rest is the body’s way of resetting itself both physically and mentally. Therefore, getting enough shut eye on a daily basis is essential to maintaining your health. However, some nights sleep will be easy and others it will seem like it is deluding you. Help your body doze off by eating a handful of cherries an hour before bedtime or drinking cherry juice in the morning and evening. Cherries contains the hormone known as melatonin which helps put you to sleep.
Limit Dairy and Sugar For Clearer Skin
Beauty Quickie: Dairy and sugar do not need to be completely stricken from your diet, but they should be kept to a limit. Starchy carbs, sugar and dairy all have something in common that can wreck havoc on skin. All three can cause spikes in hormones that in response cause acne. Experiment with how much dairy and sugar your body can handle without causing a breakout. If you love carbs (we know we do) stick to whole grains or fruits that have natural sugars.

Shine Bright
Beauty Quickie: Many women stop at just concealer in order to make their eyes look like sparkling diamonds. Concealer works to hide dark circles, but adding a layer of highlighter on top of this product can do wonders! Adding highlighter on top of concealer will give skin an iridescent shimmer thus making the eyes look brighter and awake.
Eat Healthy Fats
Of course not all fats are created equal, you will need to consume healthy fats in order to derive the most benefits. Why should healthy fats be included in your diet? The body is made of numerous cells which in turn are made up of a membrane of fat.
Fat helps to lubricate joints, promote proper cell function, metabolize fat-soluble vitamins and is the key to having gorgeous healthy skin as well as hair. Some examples of good fat foods would be: seeds, raw nuts, salmon and avocados. It is also possible to cook with healthy oils such as flax, coconut and olive oil.
