TBWD Equals The Black Wedding Dress

For a night on the town I always have a LBD set and ready to go. Not only is black slimming (thank you fashion gods!), but the tint denotes class and sophistication. However, fellow lovers of fashion riddle me this would you ever consider wearing such a color on your big day?

Throughout the years white has become the color of choice for brides the world over, yet that hasn’t always been the case. Historians of fashion say black wedding gowns were common through the 19th century. Recently, black wedding dresses have been seen floating down major runway shows.

The New York Times reported that Vera Wang showcased several noire wedding dresses during her 2012 bridal show. Wang told the paper, ““I found black to be fresh and tongue-in-cheek. With all the big weddings that happened this year, it was fun to step out of the box.” So then, ladies I ask again would you wear an ebony wedding dress?
