Zendaya Coleman has the kind of career that many coming to Hollywood could only hope for. With singing, acting and dancing credits under her belt; PLUS Disney; a fashion collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger; the hit HBO show Euphoria and a recurring Marvel role. If Zendaya’s career ended right this second she would already be one of the best to ever do it. However, that’s just it… she is ONLY getting started. In the Zendaya for Allure December/January issue; Allure mag dives into why Zendaya and her hot career is taking flight!

Did You Know? In this editorial for Allure Zendaya also wears, well… herself? Yup! That’s right, in some shots Coleman is rocking looks from her collaboration with designer, Tommy Hilfiger; the Tommy x Zendaya collection.

Zendaya for Allure December/January Issue! She’s Taking Flight

No one likes a good preview more than us. As a result, we went start to the source in order to find out what exactly is in this upcoming magazine edition. Regarding Zendaya’s cover, editorial beauty and story; the magazine says,

“Zendaya puts the Z in Gen Z; and she’s just begun to take flight. Introducing our Out of Office issue starring Zendaya! Her style is on point. Her humor is subtle. And in Euphoria she can break your heart with a look.

[For our December/January issue] Zendaya took us to all new heights with these looks. Creating Zendaya’s 70’s-inspired hair, makeup; and wardrobe for her Allure cover shot was a team effort from her long-time glam squad.

Makeup artist Sheika Daley created a custom blue wash of color on her lids and hairstylist Larry Sims sculpted the edgy; sky-high hair to complement the bold look.

[Furthermore, in her story you’ll learn] ‘You can’t do it all’ is one of Zendaya’s least favorite sayings. [She says] ‘It makes me mad. I don’t like the idea that you have to box yourself in or stay in one lane. Why wouldn’t I want to try to make the most of my talents and my gifts while I can?'”

She had us at new collection. In a very vague and painfully teasing way, Zendaya hit us with a HUGE announcement leaving all her fans stunned yet excited simultaneously. In a simple, brief statement on social media Daya reveals, “Collection coming soon. Tommy x Zendaya.”

WHAT??? Come on Zendaya we need more! Nevertheless, we are living for this collaboration because Zendaya is ALWAYS one of the best dressed on the red carpet, for any event. We are certainly not alone in our thoughts because moments after Zendaya’s little teaser supermodel Imaan Hammam was spotted responding to Z stating, “YES YES YES!”

Also, singing duo Chloe x Halle sent over some congratulations. The cutie pies in response said, “So proud and excited!” Furthermore, Zendaya’s celebrity fashion stylist, Law Roach, who’s also been hard at work on the collection had a word or two to share as well. Law says, “Anything is possible. The things we used to do to get some Tommy and now this. UNREAL. We’ve been working hard on this one, so excited for you guys to see it.”

But we want it now! That is a burning question for fashion enthusiasts as well as Zendaya fans… When exactly is the collection dropping? Fortunately, Tommy Hilfiger himself spilled the deets to the world. In regards to the collaboration release date, he also shares a glimpse of what the collection’s garments will look like. He states,

“BREAKING NEWS! Excited to welcome Zendaya to the Tommy Hilfiger family! ‘I love to collaborate with people who are passionate about making their dreams a reality; and who inspire the next generation to do the same,’ says Thomas J. Hilfiger.

‘Zendaya has become a global icon. Using fashion to make bold statements while always staying true to herself. Our capsule collection will fuse her eclectic style with the Americana spirit of our brand.’

The countdown has begun… Tommy x Zendaya. Celebrating self expression, individuality and empowerment. Mark your calendar as the Tommy x Zendaya Collection will be revealed in Spring 2019!”

Yes, the wait is on for one the biggest fashion collabs to hit the industry. We can’t wait to see what this team of visionaries create and major congrats to Zendaya on this awesome achievement!
