Designer Marjan Pejoski has probably one of the freshest views when it comes to menswear for the winter season. His monochromatic graffiti couture was inspired by his obsession with India. From the Himalayas to the HIndu spirtiual background of the region’s culture, Pejoski used every aspect to breathe ingenuity into his designs. The overall styling was also enhanced by the models faces being covered in “ash” in order to resemble black and white photographs. It’s always nice to see creativity and out of the box thinking in fashion so this collection is definitely worthy of a fashionable mention.

The En Noir Fall-Winter 2014-2015 collection had some of the most striking jackets for men. We thought En Noir’s paneled jacket was just too fab and you can NEVER go wrong with leather whether male or female. The entire collection was modern, trendy and proved minimalistic style can be wait for it…legendary!

Off with his fine fashion head! Okay, we retract that ruling only because of what these male models were adorned with for the Dolce & Gabbana Menswear Fall/Winter 2014 show. The fashions and accessories were medieval inspired channeling the Norman Kingdom of Sicily. We were especially blown away by the intricately designed accessories from gloves to shoes. We would love to get our paws on a pair of those jewel encrusted hand gloves that we believe is fit for any king OR queen.

Well okay then Miss Palmer! Three snaps in a Z formation from the hair down to those boots! Keke attended The Imitation Game premiere last night held in NYC at Ziegfeld Theatre. Palmer wore ICB (International Concept Brand) and took everyone’s breath away. Not many could pull off such a daring look, but Keke did it seamlessly.
When it’s cold layering is essential to keeping warm and being able to easily remove clothing if things get a little too hot for your liking. There is often the common thought if you layer too much of the same item things can tend to look a little funny and not in a good way. However, if done right layering a full outfit with denim or leather on leather (shown) can be cool, chic and very modern.

Alicia: Can I get a sweater please? (laughter)
Arianne: Wave them in the air! (laughs)
Alicia: Exactly… I always enjoy wearing a sweater with a cute print or design. I find it takes the guesswork out of putting together an outfit in the mornings. I simply grab one of my sweaters and pair it with jeans, a neutral top as well as ankle boot heels and I’m out the door.
Arianne: I’m addicted to fur, faux of course, I love all animals. Nevertheless, I love fur vests, especially the ones with belts or ties so that my shape doesn’t get lost because I can emphasize a waistline.

Fashion doesn’t always have to be all pain and no gain. This season you do not need to freeze your couture tail off in the name of fall/winter style. Case in point, some may feel that a hat may detract or lessen the drama of their ensemble. Being a Cheap Can Be Chic girl beanies are one of my favorite hats to wear once the temperature takes a dip. They are very reasonably priced and look great with sweaters, trench coats, fur and matches well with scarves. Moreover, since they are normally solid color accessories you don’t have to worry about a blending issue. A beanie will easily enhance yet not dominate an already great look.
