The Met gala did not disappoint in giving lovers of couture much to talk about in way of gorgeous fashions. Not to be ignored is the lush hairstyles that accompanied them. One of our favorite looks of the night came from petite songstress, Jonelle Monae.

Monae has become known for notoriously rocking a mean Pompadour. The stunning singer caused quite a stylish stir as she graced the event with a full braided pompadour that was just fabulous.
