Joan smalls becomes real life pop art in the “Girls from Mars” Missoni F/W 2014 Campaign. The sculptures make the campaign look so surreal. The rough Grecian setting really sets the mood so that the clothes really stand out. Between the strikingly bright clothes along with Joan smalls dark skin this is a win for Missoni and quite a striking look in the right direction for further campaigns.

Gucci F/W 14 Joan Smalls Ad Campaign. Joan Smalls was one of the six top models chosen by Frida Gianinni to show what the modern Gucci woman is. Shots by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggottt this stylized campaign really show of the exquisite clothes in pastel tones and Gucci luxe accessories.
The Met gala did not disappoint in giving lovers of couture much to talk about in way of gorgeous fashions. Not to be ignored is the lush hairstyles that accompanied them. One of our favorite looks of the night came from petite songstress, Jonelle Monae.
Monae has become known for notoriously rocking a mean Pompadour. The stunning singer caused quite a stylish stir as she graced the event with a full braided pompadour that was just fabulous. From every angle Jonelle’s tresses photographed extremely well, which is why she is rightfully holding the title of our Hair of the Week. This is the perfect protective style for those searching for a natural hairstyle.
