Yes, Mr. Elba it’s all true. Idris may have been a little shocked at first, but he is definitely feeling the love now. He told fans via social:

“Who’d have thought it! Thank you People and all the fans for naming me Sexiest Man Alive. Don’t forget to grab your issue this week. I’m honored and thankful.”

As you should be Idris! Nevertheless, here are some quick fun facts you might not know. Elba is the 33rd hot guy to receive the Sexiest Man Alive honor. Additionally, he is only the 3rd man of color to be named the SMA. Also, funnyman, Jimmy Fallon, announced it to the world; (you know the good news about Idris) during a Monday night airing of The Tonight Show by Jimmy Fallon.
