With the iconic vibe of Grace Jones; MAC and Teyana proudly revealed visuals to announce their spell-binding collaboration. Both parties are thrilled to be working together and bringing a fresh, artful flair as well as perspective to the beauty industry. In regards to the collab they collectively reveal,

PLUS, like the dazzling red lipstick that Teyana is wearing in her adverts? That gorgeous iconic shade will be apart of the official lineup!

The Verdict: Great message and awesome fashion references! At first glance we too thought this would be a hat that the one and only Grace Jones would look absolutely divine in! Nevertheless, Monae’s hat is not vintage, but is a modern design full of whimsy and delish fantasy.

For the Refinery 29 event Janelle adorned herself in a Dead Lotus Couture hat from the brand’s Spring 2018 collection. The hat is known as the Dead Lotus Couture Onna Hat which retails for 470 British Pounds or $633. Monae completed her outfit with an ensemble from the Kamin Spring 2018 RTW (ready to wear) collection, Via Spiga boots and clutch by Charlotte Olympia.
