We had a blast last night at the 10th Anniversary celebration of El Paseo Fashion Week! The night’s festivities included a fashion show featuring designers: Trina Turk, Kevan Hall, Lloyd Klein, Oliver Tolentino, Anthony Franco, Candice Held and Gilbert Chagoury. We be breaking down the entire show in upcoming posts but until then enjoy this video recap.

Street-style: Model Addition. Take a look at some street-style looks from our favorite runway models off the catwalk. These ladies bring it and look stylish 24/7.
Looking cute for spring is as simple as adding a print to your wardrobe. Polka dots were all the rage during spring fashion week, including during shows for Chloe, Dolce & Gabbana, Thakoon and Moschino. See a few more examples of this trend down below.
Notice how Kerry Washington stands out from the stylish pack.
Director Vashtie wears an off the shoulder Reformation Polka dot dress
Model Binx Walton for Fendi Pre-Spring 2015 wearing a skirt with large red polka dots.
Before his cutie pie niece Angela Simmons, hip hop mogul Russell Simmons was turning heads in the fashion industry thanks to his smash brand Phat Farm. Urban wear continues to make an impact in the fashion world, yet Russell continues to stay ahead of the pack when it comes to copy cat competitors. With his Argyle fall collection for 2015 Simmons has infused his line with vibrancy and strong detailing. The collection is classy, chic without losing its edge and mass appeal.
We are fashion fanatics and we are extremely excited about the upcoming El Paseo Fashion Week to be held March 21-28! This year marks ten years since the landmark event began and this year’s week of festivities is sure to knock the style socks off all who will be in attendance. Read more details below!
This was just too cool to pass up so we HAD to write about it. Legendary makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench is a chip off the old block (sorry we couldn’t help it LOL) and created Lego Masks for the Agi & Sam fashion show. Lego masks protruded from the model’s faces as they walked the catwalk with some masks simply outlining facial features while other Lego designs completely covered them. The designs were very fitting for the “Coolman” collection and we loved the ‘out of the box’ concept.
Alright, alright, alright, alrighttttttt! Major props and accolades for the Oliver Spencer Fall/Winter 2015 Collection. The couture found in this runway show is relaxed chic at its finest. From the use of fabrics including lambswool and cashmere to the slightly over-sized fits everything looked tailored yet unrestrained. The looks are for the guy who’s confident, collected and nonchalant. We loved the bold suits, bomber jackets as well as cropped trousers. Wonderful fashions from start to finish and congratulations on an amazing show!
London has been set ablaze with fiery hot menswear fashion shows. Besides all of the male eye candy the couture is getting us just as warm under our stylish collars. The Nasir Mazhar Autumn/Winter 2015 collection gave us a slight late 90’s vibe when hip hop artists were wearing those puffed up, shiny ensembles. If you don’t remember or were not alive slide on over to google and look up Diddy as well as Mase then get back to us. The fashions were very bold and in your face, so if your man loves to be seen he will love this collection. One of our favorite pieces from the collection were a pair of green and black sporty looking pants. They looked comfy but had really neat panel detailing that gave them a cool flair.
Break away from the beanies, snap-backs as well as fedoras and opt for a total out of the box look…the top hat. Top hats may be a more male-driven fashion, however the accessory can look just as elegant and sophisticated on women. We spotted the top hat during an equestrian themed runway show for fall/winter fashion week in Toronto, Canada. Pair the hat with denim, boots, khakis, blazers, long coats and even a nicely tailored suit. With such a stylish hat you are bound to make a strong fashion statement.
