Let’s Paint Delia Alleyne S/S 2016 Collection

http://picasion.com/
The “Let’s Paint” women’s fashion collection created for spring and summer of 2016 offers a splash of colorful contrast against black silhouettes. Fashion Designer, Delia Alleyne introduced the line during the September 2015 market week in New York City. The looks include rompers, jackets, funky trousers and that classic little black dress. The “Let’s Paint” collection is splashy, bold and is styled with a retro artist’s cap that makes the collection reminiscent of the psychedelic sixties. The applied fabrics range from nets to denim, to brocades as the paint splatter and appliqueing adds detail and an interesting design element to the collection.

Painting is like a metaphor for life…“, explains Delia. “We are born as blank canvases waiting to be. Then moment by moment; stroke by stroke… We create life’s memories by applying one colorful moment in our life at a time.

Fashionable Mention: Red and Black Prada Bag

Fashionable Mention: Red and Black Prada Bag

If you are in the market for a bag or two that will be great transitional pieces during the year you may want to indulge in some Prada. Transitional pieces are fashions that can easily go from season to season without looking dated or failing to match well with newer couture. The color black will always be classic and timeless, while red is always sassy as well as a nice pop of color for various ensembles. Therefore, ladies feast your eyes on the red and black Prada bag.

Prada has always been known for their use of high quality materials. Their 2016 shoulder bags are no exception. The red and black Prada bag was designed using both gaufre nappa and saffiano leather. Saffiano is a texture pressed material that has a cross-hatch finish (diagonal pattern) created by a machine. Saffiano is also made from the highest calf leather and often has a wax finish. This leather was patented by Prada but that hasn’t detered other fashion brands from using it. Tory Burch, Coach and Michael Kors have all included saffiano in their designs.

Gaufre Nappa Leather is a soft to the touch, very thin yet durable leather. The look and feel of this leather is luxurious with a very sought after sophisticated design. If looking like a million bucks is your goal then this bag is what you need.
